I have gone to this coffee spot a few times just to get a morning cup of coffee, or an occasional break latte, and literally EVERY time I have been there the owner(not so much the other employees), has been EXTREMELY rude. I think he thinks he’s funny, but just comes off as very inconsiderate and even insulting. Anytime I go to a coffee shop, especially when it’s a local spot, I expect friendly, welcoming customer service – just a warm, «Hi» etc. DIDNOT receive any such treatment at this place. I have to say, I even went in a couple of times(purely because of convenience), and used their WIFI, which was definitely a plus, and overheard the owner make a negative comment about EVERY customer that would come in! I was shocked. Not going there again. Love the atmosphere, the décor, the WIFI, and even the coffee(although it tends to be a bit overpriced)… but the owner makes me never want to come back. Actually, I don’t think I will. To top it off, I have come across a few people that I run into on occasion who have also frequented this marvel of an establishment and have displayed the same type of reaction. Surprised this place stays in business!

Choo choo! I think this junction is a nice place to ‘meet’ up with some cool people and have a nice drink! I work in the same plaza and have tried a fair amount of their drinks, but some of my usual orders are: espresso con pana(with freshly made whip cream! make sure they have it on hand) mexican mocha(whip!), chai lattes, and the monkey business blended drinks(banana, peanut butter, nonfat milk, non fat vanilla yogurt, and honey to sweeten it up!) Also, how tasty the drinks are depends on who makes it. Steve the owner has always made a perfect mexican mocha for me. The place is super chill and yes FREEWIFI! And not all corporate like… and thats coming from a someone who used to work for the dark side(aka Starbucks) The only down side is that they occasionally run out of inventory… one day I came in and they didn’t have ICEDTEA! my goodness! But I really like it here, can get my caffeine fix whenever I work. They close now at 4pm daily I think. Drink and be merry!

Uhm hello, free WIFI& a S.A.M. smoothie just puts a smile on my face. It is a tad pricey for what you would usually pay for, but I think you pay for what you get + no tax, woo! P. S. S.A.M = Strawberry, Apple & Mango. MMM!

Best coffee in the Evergreen area — Starbucks does not even come close. Java Junction gets fresh roasted coffee beans _everyday_— they are no more than 24 hours old — and that makes a huge difference to their coffee. I’ve been visiting this cofee house for many months now, and they are very consistent. Recently I also visisted the Starbucks on Aborn and that has only increased my appreciation for the coffee served by Java Junction. Also, the free wifi helps if you just wanna sit n surf while having your coffee!

They had the best coffee in the evergreen area — started off in the farmers market at the La Rochelle winery, and then opened Java Junction. But the quality has declined significantly. They only make one type a coffee now, understaffed, and almost always run out of bagels & muffins. I still go there most weekends for my coffee, but am considering just going to Starbucks, since it is at least consistent.

this place is really good. i’ve only been here once. and i asked for a recommendation and he offered the mexican mocha. which was fantastic. it’s waay too pricey though. the area is really nice and quiet. you can sit outside their patio. or just go the middle of the plaza and sit by the fountain. the crappy part about it, they always close so darn early. and i think they were even closed sundays back in the day. i hope their hours changed. but i really need to go back and try out that coffee again. but i think it’s the only mocha i’ve ever liked. so yay!

Try the MEXICANMOCHA that’s 5 stars in itself. Other than that its a pretty cozy place. Kinda expensive though, my mex. mocha is almost $ 5 sheesh. When are people gunna get that in times like these we can not afford to be spending that much on a drink! if so there better be refills! You can sit inside on little sofas, bar stools, or chairs or outside on chairs. Love the evergreen village sq. area. So peaceful! They have food like bagels, bagel sandwhiches, muffins, and doughnuts. If youre not craving that theres a quiznos, cremery, and burrito azteca right next door… as well as walgreens! smoothies are egghhhh. go to jamba. coffees are worth trying.

FANTASTIC drinks and friendly staff. The price is right and the drinks are made with care BUT depending on who you get, the drinks can take a looooong time to get made :)

When they first open they were trying to make this place a little hangout spot where kids from EVHS or chaboya would walk down after school just to chill and have some java, kinda like those cliché cartoon shows hence why they named it the java junction. catchy name, and a pretty nice catch. it doesn’t attract too many kids, i see alot of adults just kicking it there having a drag or using up their free wifi. drinks are good, compared to bucks coffee i’d say local is better. the area is definitely a nice place and a perfect way to just kick back. overall i’d say this place is superb if you just wanna have a drink and kick back to some evergreen scenery and daydream all day.

Java Junction is such a cute little place with super nice workers. The drinks are a bit more expensive than Starbucks though. I completely agree with Tom T. the lattes here are blaaa. But I’ll definitely come back to try different things. Update to come!

my family and I come here every week, usually, and always order a smoothie(or two). The staff are all very personable and friendly, they get to know you and your order(if you order the same thing). I like their smoothies better than jamba juice because they have a considerably less amount of sugar and still taste great. The only real downside is theres usually only 2 people working there at a time, so if they get a rush of people, you better get ready to wait. but it’s usually worth the wait anyway, so it doesn’t matter.

If you are looking for an alternate to Starbucks this is definitely a place you want to check out. Java Junction is snuggled in a small-town feel sort of shopping plaza. Every time I swing by, I also bump into the Chinese man playing violin. He plays right outside on his own accord, adding to the cozy atmosphere. The prices here are comparably more reasonable. The food is prepared fresh not the prepackaged sandwiches. I highly recommend a bagel sandwiches. The smoothies here are awesome. I can actually taste the fruit minus the sugar Jamba Juice mixes into theirs. I used to love Jamba Juice’s «Peanut Butter Moo’d» but now«Monkey Business» at Java Junction tops it ten fold. I’m not much of a coffee person but I love the kick-back atmosphere. Plenty of lounging and table space for studying. There’s free wi-fi to boot!

Java Junction is a nice place to go to study or get a nice cup o joe(free wifi!). A lot of people I know prefer java over starbucks. I like to go here because its convenient and its located in cute little evergreen village square. I’m not a big fan of their smoothies though, I dont know why. They taste a little too eh I guess I’m more into the jamba juice sugar overload taste. If you like real juice flavor I would suggest you try their smoothies otherwise go for the café options =) PLUS I really like their caramel freeze. It’s like a starbucks venti at 3.50AND tastes so much better! Nice people there too. Only down side is they close really early now. 5PM

4 stars to the Moka Java Drip. Very smooth tasting coffee with a little bite. Not a fan of the Latte’s here at all, I’ve ordered them 3 – 4 times and were made improperly every time. So I switched to the drip.

Totally neat. Gotta have the Brazillian coffee people! I don’t know if they still brew it but man, will that shoot you off the walls! I liked it there for a while because the atmospher was real come, real cool. Real… small town like! Just missing the Rory and Lorali Gilmore like the Gilmore girls. But very nice!

Today has been torture and its not even 10:30. I get up, take the kids to school and realize that I need starbucks. So I go, get a quad shot and drive to work. 9 o’clock comes around and a coworker wants to walk downstairs and get a coffee and a breakfast bagel. I was wired off starbucks so I joined her for the walk. She tells me their coffee is better then Starbucks and I have to try it. I tell her I’m about to do cartwheels in the office as it is, maybe another day. She doesn’t take no for an answer… and gets me one. Some kind of Mexican mocha i think… I was hoping it was nasty so i wouldn’t have to drink it. Oh no. It was bomb. So I have successfully broken out in a sweat from so much caffeine. I predict I’ll be crashed out by 2 today. The have donuts, croissants, bagels, coffee, sandwiches, etc. and a cute little area to sit outside. Back to cartwheels now…
