Jazlyn Tugade Beauty Artistry

Lucky is the word I use to describe the pleasure my hair is to have met Jazlyn. She is extremely knowledgeable about the products she uses, the products in the salon and other store bought products. She is always on time; she is sweet as sugar and she listens to what I want and gives me input on what I need. She gives the best shampoos. I’ve tried other stylist for a quick cut or color and no one measures up to Jazlyn. The salon is adorable and clean. I love their magazine selection.

Jazlyn did a great job with my cut/​highlights! Considering this was my first time doing highlights, her friendly personality, and professional eye made it easy in choosing a great color with a touch of fun for highlights. She was very informative with knowing which colors would work better with my skin tone, and also easier with up-​keep in which I wouldn’t need to go in too often versus having an all over dye where I’d need to have touch-​ups sooner. I appreciated her honesty in opinion, in fixing my recent cut (with a different stylist) to bring out my layers more, and really love the overall end look. The highlight had just enough brightness too it, without being too flashy and overbearing. I LOVE IT!!! Her laughter is contagious and cute style really shows she can keep up with trends. Thanks Jazlyn, for my new do and making this drab mama to a fab one! She really knows how to «Jazz» things up!!!

I came a bit early and Jazlyn accommodated the schedule change an hour earlier. She was there on time; whereas some salons would be late or not able to reschedule an earlier time on a Saturday (from 10am to 9am).
She taught me on color progression especially when I have long and highlighted goldish red on my upper half. As winter moves along, I wanted to change the color slowly to the next level lighter. She made a schedule with toning and highlights. This perspective helped me out a lot.
While I was getting my color treated, she massaged my hands with natural oils and lotion. She told me how tense my muscles were, which I told her I’ve been working a lot on my hands due to artworks. She flattened them up and made them feel relaxed.
After the treatment, she blow-​dried and gave it a little style. She also has complimentary make-​up. In case you have time after your hair style, stay abit and try out the make-​up. Great neutral colors.

Jazlyn is the ONLY one who is allowed to cut and style my hair from here on out! I love her! Having been to the lower-​end salons as well as the higher-​end salons, Jazlyn is by far the best! You definitely get what you pay for with her, so there’s no need to worry about the price. I guarantee that you will not be disappointed!
She really took her time with me and is adamant about bringing out your natural beauty. She listens to what you want and actually does it, unlike many other stylists who think they «know better.» Jazlyn truly cares about her clients and knows how to make them look their best. Her genuine concern for her clients is amazing and you feel comfortable the moment she introduces herself.
I know most people say their hair has a mind of its own, but my hair SERIOUSLY has a mind of its own! I have naturally curly, coarse, frizzy hair and a round face. Jazlyn was able to provide me with a cut that flattered the shape of my face, a style that was easy to maintain, and even gave me tips as to how to care for and maintain my hair. She is extremely knowledgeable and does not mind that you pick her brain or ask a ton of annoying questions!
Jazlyn also did a hair wrap on my hair because I wanted my hair to be straight for a few days. All I can say is, «WOW!!!» My hair looked like it was naturally straight and fell perfectly into place with no maintenance! My hair was incredibly soft without feeling weighed down and felt like it was the healthiest it’s been in a long time. Jazlyn is a miracle worker, one of the kindest people you will ever meet, and the best beauty artist in the world!

My Mom was a hairstylist when she was young so she is very specific about her hair when it comes down to cut, color and style. At her older age, she can also be very blunt. Well, more like she can be mean…
Perfect client for Jazlyn! I know several stylists and what separates her from the rest is her attention to detail and her personal touch. Some salons and stylists will rush through an appointment to get on to the next victim; not this one. Jazlyn takes her time as she wants you to feel good not rushed. She won’t just color your hair and say «uh-​huh» after everything you say, either. If your hair was messed up by someone else she will tell you if she can fix it or not or what the process will be.
The first time she did my Mom’s hair she just cut it. Mom was happy with the cut but disappointed that Jazlyn didn’t have experience with Perms. Yes, wavy/​curly perms.
So what did Jazlyn do. She went out of her way to learn how to do perm’s! So the next time around, she was able to perm and my mom asked to color and cut her hair as well. Mom loved it and it made her look like she was 10 years younger. Should’ve seen my Dad’s face. Priceless!
She has gone on to cut my hair and I have referred several family, friends, co-​workers and clients. I am glad she found a new home at Park Ave Salon!
