JB Williams Photography

1 ½ years later… we are still talking about JB Williams photos!
And so all our friends and family. they think our photos look like Art Poster Prints!
Our wish: to take pre-​wedding pictures around San Francisco– since our wedding was taking place out of state. and as a souvenir especially, since SF holds a special place for us…
What we got: MORE than we bargained for!
Superenthusiastic couple… their photography style is quite stylistic and creatively fresh!
It was actually sunny in SAN FRAN the day of our session (one of those 9 days of out of the year where San Francisco was NOT in FOG)… actually TOO SUNNY (not good for photographers) —
We went to the Japanese Garden. and usually a late morning outdoor photo session would be fine in Foggy San Francisco– but that day, the Sun was not cooperating. But Brett and Jane really worked hard to get us in the right angles despite the HARSH SUN.
I guess we were wimpy models because we were drained after Japanese Garden and Palace Fine Arts (with the Blazing Sun but windy, and wearing our dress clothes NOT comfortable) — My veil blew off my head several times!
we almost ALMOST wanted to surrender and go home. but the Super Energetic Brett and Jane convinced us to continue on with Baker Beach Plan (which was part of my original request, b/​c i initially wanted pics of GG bridge), and WE ARE SOOOOOO SOOO THANKFUL that they did and didn’t let our party pooper fatigue discourage them!!!
Despite us being drained, they were still bouncing around with ideas and their cameras… Our favorite pics of ALL TIME were at Baker’s Beach … and you would have never guessed that we were hungry, tired, freezing cold in the powerfully windy Beach — - my fingertips were even blue numb! (Typical SF beach weather!)
One thing that stood out with them — is they are not like your typical wedding photographers who have certain set of 100 poses they always do with ALL couples. … so if you look at those photographers’ portfolios— all the couples standing together the same, cuddling the same, etc…
JANE and BRETT were very very creative and modern! For example, they would try for us to «create» a moment— so our reactions were real and spontaneous. Not the «Say Cheese» or «Say HAHAHHAHA!» AMAZINGLY, they were able to photograph that spontaniety which happens in NanoSeconds!

It is always fun to be with Jane and Brett… thank you guys for sharing your creativity and fun-​tastic ideas… you deserve more than 5 stars. My photos were never been so alive and captivating without your keen eye for details, patience in getting the right spot and angle, and of course your wit and charm for a real fun-​tastic experience. I can’t thank you enough. So guys if you need a wonderful experience and a fun-​tastic photoshoot… take ‘em with you. Have fun!!!
