The front desk person is so rude and was telling someone off over the phone while checking me in. Immediately after the exam the doctor asked me how I was going to pay for the exam. Didn’t even walked me out the front lobby. Back at the front desk, the reception she gave me an attitude saying they don’t do lenses, and that i have to buy a frame. WTF, that’s ridiculous, all I wanted was an updated pair of glasses. This was after the exam and I walked out with old blurry glasses. I ended up going to lens crafters and got everything done with 10 copay and 11 dollars out of pocket for a good frame. Bad customer service, period

I was working in the San Jose area and the screw kept coming out of my glasses. I was near Eastridge Mall and hoped there would be an optical store somewhere that could help me. I first went to Lens Crafters, who said their manager wasn’t in and they couldn’t help me. They suggest the optical dept. inside JC Penny’s. Approaching this store I saw a lady(who I later found out was Melodie the Manager) helping several customers. She said she would be right with me and I decided to wait. After finishing with the other people, I told Melodie that a screw was coming out of my glasses. She didn’t even ask if I had bought them there. She proceeded to do something which fixed my frames from coming apart. I asked if there was any charge, and she said no. Just come back when you need to get new glasses. I haven’t had a problem since and will be back when I need to update my frames.
