I have been trying for several weeks to get my 12 foot high ceiling fan’s receiver/remote to work. An electrician was sent to my home by a company used by my home warranty two weeks ago, and he informed me that the cost would be prohibitive. On my way home yesterday, I saw Jerry’s van parked a couple of blocks from my home. I immediately called him to see if he could come since he was two minutes from my home. He showed up immediately, told me what I parts I needed and said he would return between 5:30 and 6:00 pm. to install them. I wasn’t able to find the receiver/remote I needed or the two-way switch, so I called Jerry to tell him not to come since I couldn’t get the parts. He said he would get the parts I needed if that was okay with me. He purchased the parts for me and showed up promptly at 6 p.m. Jerry is great – not only did he fix the fan that needed the receiver/remote, but replaced the two-way switch on the fan in my guest bedroom. Jerry really impressed me with his knowledge of ceiling fans and the parts that were needed. He installed them without any problem and explained what he was doing. He really knows his stuff. He was very reasonably priced and his being on time was something I really appreciated. Barbara D. Jerry’s Electrical 408−410−4882

After getting 3 estimates for some electrical work, I decided to hire Jerry’s Electrical to do the job. The job was installation of an external 40 amp, 220v line for a new induction cooktop. Soon after scheduling, Ken and Jeff came out and started the work. They were professional, and accommodated my schedule. Ken is very knowledgeable with decades of experience as an electrician. Every inch of weatherproof galvanized conduit was bent accurately, tightly connected, attached securely, and so were all elbow and/or junction boxes. Jerry’s Electrical was able to complete the job for the quoted price, which was considerably cheaper than the other two Electricians’ quotes. I’m very happy with the price, the work, and the final outcome! I will call Ken at Jerry’s Electric in the future, next time I need any electrical work.

Just got raped. $ 425 for 1.5 hours to add a new plug. The response was quick and polite, but didn’t give an estimate as I had requested and and went right to work. Since they advertise in the Pennysaver I thought it would at least be reasonable, but $ 425 was nothing short of rape. I already had a bid of $ 65 for the same job from another electrician but I would have to wait a week, next time I’ll wait.
