I have been a patient of Dr. Kent for more than 5 years. Dr. Kent is nothing but amazing! He treats his patients with respect, very patient and sympathetic, and actually cares about his patients. he would spend as much time as needed to talk about your concerns and review past complains to make sure they were properly addressed. Dr. Kent is a great doctor and a great person.

Was informed by the receptionist he is not accepting new patients even though it says that he is on the united health care website

although i’ve only been into the office a few times, i have no complaints about dr. kent and the other staff at the clinic.
however, the front office at FMASJ needs some work. to make a long story short: poor and sometimes cryptic communication, requesting more info from me than was necessary to determine if could be accepted as a new patient, and an extremely long turn around to be accepted as a new patient.
kudos to their medical staff though for contacting me via Unilocal to solve some of the issues i raised.

He has been our family doctor since we came to San Jose. He is the best! He is always dead on with diagnosing problems with us and our kids. He calls us personally to check up on us and really cares. He is very warm and friendly. Every time we are in the ER and we let them know our Dr. is Dr. Kent the nurse always says «oooohhhhhh Great choice in dr.‘s » Seriously– It’s happened 3 different times. My sis is also a nurse in L&D and all of the nurses she works with take take their kids to him. We won’t use anyone else as long as he’s around!
