If you’re getting married getting a wedding is a must. At the very least a day of coordinator. I’ve been in weddings where the bride and groom didn’t have a day of coordinator or have someone be the contact between all the vendors and your family and they were bombarded with questions from everyone. I think it’s the last thing you want to worry about on your wedding. I found La Belle Events through a recommendation. I hired Cindy to be my day of coordinator and she went above and beyond my expectations. I think it’s good to have a 3rd party provide advice because you get a non-biased opinion. Cindy provided excellent advice and sometimes helped squash arguments that my fiancé and I were having about little details. Cindy is so sweet and would always get back to my e-mails very quickly and would think of details that should be covered that I missed. She also would suggest great ideas for things that could be done at the wedding. She would attend a good majority of the meetings with my vendors which helped me put things into focus. What she and her colleague Mary did went way beyond what I would consider only day of coordination. On the Cindy and Mary came prepared. I didn’t have to worry about a thing. One of bridesmaids got a blow out for her hair that was coming undone and Cindy and Mary offered to help her re-curl her hair! They went to the reception to help set up and it looked great. The La Belle Events planners had really saved my wedding day. I think without them, I would have gone into a nervous breakdown or would have postponed the wedding. Wow, they went far beyond what I had expected them to do. Because I had hired them late into the planning phase of the wedding, there were still so much to be done, ie. wedding programs, music selections, wedding gifts/favors, etc. They literally came over to my house to helped my family and friends into the wee hours of the night days prior to the wedding. These two girls were fast, organized, and creative and suggested things I didn’t even think about. The most important thing was that on the day of the wedding, they did a good job of keeping the stress level down for me, my husband, the bridal party, and family. They tagged team to ensure the wedding day was going as planned using their walky-talkies and directing the vendors and the course of the day. Thank you Cindy and Mary for doing such a wonderful job and making our wedding day fun and successful. Everyone had a great time.
