Lara Shaw Electrolysis

I’ve been going to Roxy for years and can’t believe it’s taking me this long to write a review. She’s amazing at what she does but aside from that she is very flexible and easy to schedule an appt with. She’s very thorough and will work on me until she my zaps all of my stubborn hair. I’ve been to a lot of other electrolysis places and would always notice missed areas but never do with Roxy.
For those who haven’t had luck with laser hair removal, I would de definitely give this a shot.

I am seeing Roxy for about 6months now. Besides of her open and friendly character, she is very knowledgeable in this business. I got a great result in this short time with extremely reasonable price. Very flexible in her appointment, Highly recommended!

I absolutely adore Roxy. Prior to her I had gone to another lady for electrolysis and she was not nearly as caring and concerned for her clients as Roxy is. She spends time on you and truly cares about the work she is doing. Most electrologists are all about the money but not Roxy. For one, her prices are significantly lower than most others in the area, and she usually goes over the designated time slot and doesn’t charge extra. Throughout the whole session she will talk to you and keep you entertained so you do not feel the pain and boredom associated with the services. I have been going to her for a couple of months now and I love her! I highly recommend her for your hair removal needs.

Roxy at Lara Shaw Electrolysis is warm and welcoming. She talked the entire time she was working on me, which made the time fly by. Her prices are very reasonable and she is as accomodating with her calendar as she possibly can be. I have already booked more appointments and will continue to return until the hair is gone.

I made an appointment with Roxy at Lara Shaw’s Electrolysis, and I am very happy that I did. She made me feel completely comfortable from the moment I walked in. She shared similar experiences with me, and made my situation seem as though it wasn’t so bad. My consultation was free, and she examined the areas I wanted the hair to be removed from by testing a few small areas for comfort. I have to admit, initially I was a bit afraid that I wouldn’t be able to bare the pain. But after she began, I thought to myself: «This will be a piece of cake!» She has already helped me believe that ALL HOPE IS NOT LOST! I genuinely have a great feeling about Roxy, that she is a great person, and that she really cares about her clients. During my appointment, there was never a dull moment. We spoke to one another and shared laughs. Overall, I am very happy about my decision to see her. Even though I am completely aware that permanent hair removal is a process and will take some time, it is much more affordable than any laser treatments in the entire area!!! I am super excited.

When hairs migrate to places where they shouldn’t be, it’s time to zap ‘em with electrolysis. No more ‘stache & chin hairs taunting me in the mirror!
Roxie with Lara Shaw Electrolysis is great. Made a consultation appointment and since we both had time, had my first electrolysis treatment — all for $ 15. So much cheaper than laser! (The consultation was free.)
The treatment room was in her home — small & private. Felt totally comfortable even if the area was a little cluttered
Will definitely be going back. BTW She’s in the Alum Rock area near Peter’s bakery. Another reason to see Roxie again!
Lara Shaw is probably a 5 star establishment but have only gone there once. So reserving top ratings until next time. :-)

I have been seeing Roxy at Lara-​Shaw Electrolysis for about 5 years now for my hair removal needs. In comparison with a few other places that I’ve tried before her and in general Roxy is phenomenal! She genuinely CARES about your hair removal needs. She’s thorough and careful in her work. She’s extremely knowledgeable and experienced and will go the extra mile to get you all «dolled» up! And here’s the cherry on top of it all, SHE’S VERY AFFORDABLE! Do not waste your time on other companies, TRUST me, I’ve tried them!
