Law Office of Stanley Phan

This attorney advertised on Vietnamese radio and my parents got a consultation with him in regards to a property they cosigned for relatives that were going into default. Stanley Phan suggested an over engineered family trust to them for $ 2,500 even though they already had a trust and he admitted himself that it was probably unnecessary. He can’t answer specific questions. Only gives general answers and tend to employ a scare tactic sales approach to pressure people into paying for his services. I’ve never seen such greedy and incompetent advice from any attorney before. This guy doesn’t know what he’s doing and its no surprise since he attended what I consider to be a bottom-​of-​the-​barrel law school. Yes, I looked him up on Calbar.
Go somewhere else. Anywhere else. That is unless you want to spend a crap load of money on template documents and unnecessary services from an incompetent and greedy lawyer.

Stanley gave us great advice. His mortgage department did a terrific job at getting us a loan and changing my family’s life forever. Thank you Trang.

Stanley Phan cancelled his appointment after I drove over an hour to get to his office. That’s a wasted 3 hour round-​trip. He then failed to show up to his office on the rescheduled date, so we had a phone conversation in his office…
He was intentionally vague about our situation and advised to sell the house to prevent the state from claiming it. He then tells me he’s also a Real Estate agent and can help sell the house. Go figure. I contact another two other attorneys who told me that the state won’t do anything to my house.
Stay away from this swindler.

Very bad attorney. He advises that he is the top attorney and top brokers that can do very thing from foreclosure, bankruptcy, debt modification, refinance, stated income refinance, family law, traffic, etc. However, he has never done these. He contracts with other companies in Los Angeles to handle transaction and I know many clients have lost money to him (and nothing has been done).
Be ware.

Terrible services. The people who work over there are very stuck up. Bad bad bad. never go there

This lawyer is the WORST of the WORST. I used him a few years ago. He left me with more problems than I started with. Recently saw his ad on REAL​TOR​.COM. Now is a real estate broker as well. BAD NEWS!

Worst service I ever had. Don’t ever ever go to this office. They only wanted to take your money first and done nothing for you. Never ever return calls or reply your emails.

Horrible. This is the shoddiest excuse for someone advertising themselves as an attorney. This guy consistently fails to return phone calls or even respond to offers to buy real estate he is handling which is in foreclosure. No WONDER we can’t get some repair of the mortgage crisis. Buyers like myself are out there wanting to buy properties he is advertising and has on his books for months but he fails to respond to those offers. Just listening to the outgoing message at his office sounds like this is a way over-​hyped over-​sold complete BS law outfit (this guy probably barely passed the bar) operating out of somebody’s bedroom.
This guy should be disbarred. Horrendous. DO NOT USE!!! And ANY good review you see of him is highly likely to have been bought or bribed out of his own family members.
A disgrace, this guy.
