Longhorn Stampede 5k Run

3^rd year in. This is a fun run that now is USATF certified!
It’s flat, fast and they offer a big pancake breakfast right after. The medals are awesome and the sponsors are plentiful, local and most useful. The people running and organizing this have offered raffle prizes before for registering and are enthusiastically working for a good cause! The bib pic ups are in more than one location and date, the course is clear and simple and policed with enthusiastic neighborhood support as well! We support it, run it and endorse it. I will offer help to gain momentum for this race as the organizers put a lot of effort inputting it together and hope and need community cohesion to make this an awesome local yearly event! Let’s go to it at 9.00am and run for the fun and support of it! :) Go Longhorns!~
