We are very happy with our flooring choice. We went to aTON of different stores in multiple cities, attended home and garden shows, and we could not find a product that compared to Matek’s. The price for the quality they sell is unbeatable. We purchased a floor with wax as extra protection from water seeping through the cracks which we couldn’t find anywhere else!
We were looking for a particular look in a laminate floor. Everywhere else we went either looked to bland, or the picture didn’t look very good, or the product seemed flimsy. At Matek we were very impressed with the look and thickness of the laminate. The quality of just the way it looks was miles above everywhere else we were looking.
Their customer service is also top notch. We are renovating our house in Sacramento and could not make it out to San Jose during normal business hours since we also work 9 – 5 and they made a special appointment to let us visit their store during a time we could make it. We really appreciated the extra effort and how well they took care of us.
Ben was very helpful and knowledgeable about the products and what would best fit our needs and was able to answer all of our questions and concerns. He was never pushy, which we very much appreciated, and even checked up on our project to see how it was going. Once we finish our renovations we’ll post pictures.
With renovations being as stressful as they are, when it came to our floor purchase, we are the happiest and most confidant with this aspect of our project. We would definitely recommend friends and family to come here for their flooring needs.

The people who work at Matek are all very knowledgeable, and give great deals on flooring. My boyfriend and I went to several different locations around the san jose and santa clara area to look at different prices. The salesman that helped us gave us the best deal out there, not to mention all the different styles of laminate and bamboo. Highly recommend going to them if you need any flooring in the future! Meet the owners at the San Mateo home show and was impressed by his knowledge. My husband and I lives about 1 ½ hours away but because of their quality product (laminate flooring) and their guidance, we purchased our flooring and are extremely happy with both their price and quality.
