Great café! The owner is Betty — a very decent human being. I come here all the time for the wraps!

Love this place. Small deli inside a business high rise downtown San Jose. The Pizza is great and my favorite. Next is the breakfast burrito. Excellent drink selection and fresh coffee. Great owner/operator who is a delight and appreciates her customers. I don’t make it a point to head there but when I am in the neighborhood I always pop in.

This small unassuming Café tucked away in an office building close to down town San Jose has the best chai in the area. I should clearify, this is not the kind of Chai you would be served at a Pakistani/Indian home(if you want the real deal try Shalimar in Fremont or Naan and Curry in Berkeley) but more along the lines of Starbucks interpertation of what chai is. Regardless it tastes awesome and it is definitley worth checking out, especially now that the cold weather has started to kick in.

My friend and I work down the street from this business. We received a menu from them last year but never went. The menu doesn’t state the hours nor was there a website. I think they should have both since they are in a HIGHTRAFFIC area with the cars driving by and all the people working in the surrounding area. My friend and I went on our daily walk and decided to find this café. Its actually not visible from the street. You have to walk into a building and its the lobby area. We finally were able to try it today and I wasn’t too impressed. I love coffee(read my other reviews) so I was really banking on this café to be good since its the closest coffee shop near my work. I’m still in aw there isn’t a Starbucks nearby, its a hot spot for downtown workers! There was one lady working the shop. As we walked in she was preparing what looked like hot sandwiches out of the mini-oven. She does need to work on her salesmanship. I ordered a drink and my friend waiting patiently for the lady to ask if she wanted anything. When she didn’t i told the lady my friend had an order too. I guess she was so into preparing mine and the sandwiches she forgot she could make another sale! I ordered an Iced Mocha, one of my favorites, but i wasn’t very impressed. The espresso used was weak and so was the chocolate(mocha) she added the cubes at the end, barely enough. She did ask if i wanted more but i would have to drink 1⁄3rd of it to even allow more for it. Which i ended up doing. I also got a croissant which tasted like it was from Costco. I get it though, this isn’t a bakery. I paid 5.50 for both. My friend ordered a hot mocha. She wasn’t too impressed either. Not sure if I will return.
