Mimosa’s Salon

I got married in October 2004 and Giselle was my hair and makeup artist. Previously I never had any luck with up-​dos at other salons. Some were so bad that I went home and immediately washed my hair and redid it. So for my big day I was determined to find someone who could give me my dream look. I was really lucky to find Giselle. In fact, I went to high school with her sister Lanni who I knew had great fashion, hair and makeup sense. So I was immediately thrilled because I already was familiar with their work and, more importantly, I could trust them.
During my trial she did my hair exactly the way it was pictured in the photos I gave to her and since I’m not good with makeup she suggested certain colors that she thought would work well. She also suggested using some hair accessories that would help compliment my look which I purchased from her. Later when I decided that I didn’t want to use as many of the accessories, she kindly accepted them for a full return. I couldn’t have been more pleased by the outcome.
My wedding was scheduled at 10:00am and photos were supposed to start at 8:00am. So, Giselle came to the hotel at 6:00am to do my hair and makeup as well as the hair for my matron of honor and flower girl. At the last minute, I asked Giselle to change my eye shadow color we had planned on and she was happy to do so without any question.
Giselle is a professional who I trust. She made the process very seamless which is very important when you are getting married. I didn’t have to worry. Needless to say the services she provided were perfect. I can’t say enough about her work. I would recommend her to my friends and family in a heartbeat and will be going to her for all future hair and makeup services.

I was getting married and was having a hard time finding someone to do my hair (I’m very picky). I had went to 3 different trials and wasn’t happy… until I find Giselle. I went to her salon and left very happy I. booked her to come to my home the day of my wedding. She did not only myself but all my bridesmaids hair. We were all very HAPPY. I will def. use her again.

I was a maid of honor in my friend’s wedding, and have hair that just won’t curl! Somehow Giselle managed to get my hair to curl, an fit lastedtroughout the ceremony.
Giselle was also very receptive to what the bride wanted. She did not force anything upon the bride, and in the end all was exactly as the bride had dreamed.
Giselle also does waxing and makeup services.

What’s that saying? «Always a bridesmaid, never a bride» — well, that’s me! And I don’t mind as long as Giselle does my hair and makeup! I have been going to Giselle whenever I am lucky enough to be part of the bridal party. I’ve recommended her to all of my girlfriends, and she never disappoints. She is professional and so easy to work with. She stays on top of the latest styles and has great recommendations that is fitting to my style and personality, and most importantly the right occasion.
