I have been going here for a few years now after discovering his practice on Unilocal.Dr. Nguyen and his staff are very professional and pleasant. Got to love their brand new clean office with state of the art equipments. Highly recommend!

I have been going to Dr. Nguyen for the last 2 years. Mine was a very difficult case and I cannot thank Dr. Nguyen enough for the fantastic job he did. He is extremely detail oriented, very nice, passionate, perfectionist, and professional. Exactly what you want in a dentist. He spends hours to make sure that he answers all your questions and your teeth look the best they can! Dr. Nguyen also has a very polite staff. They always return my calls, follow up properly with my insurance, and do their best to accommodate my schedule. The appointments are always on time. I have gone to more than 10 dentists (I have a lot of issues with my teeth) and Dr. Nguyen is the BEST by far!

He is a gentle perfectionist, and with my million dollar smile and dental specialists in my family I feel qualified to recommend Dr. Nguyen. He is a good listener, has excellent chairside manner, is concerned with patient comfort during procedures, always checking in to see if I’m OK and does outstanding work. Dr. Nguyen carefully explains procedures, options and has helped me with prioritizing the work that needs to be done in my mouth. He also teaches, works with interns and stays current in the field of dentistry. [I know because we’ve talked about it during my visits.]
In addition, Dr. Nguyen carefully selects and trains his office staff to support his high standards. They are professional and polite, always helping me feel comfortable and relaxed for the duration of my appointments. His hygienist worked in the office before getting her RDH and is the only one I’ve let use a cavitron in decades.
Dr. Nguyen is top notch and I highly recommend him be it a crown, bridge, implant[s], speaking from experience, or other prosthodontia needs. Oh, and his office suite is always immaculate! It’s on the 2^nd floor and there is a private elevator right into the front office. I’ve been Dr. Nguyen’s patient for well over a decade.

Amazing amazing amazing! Dr. Nguyen is one of the best oral surgeons I have ever been a patient of (out of 3 because of poor oral hygiene). He takes the time to explain all of the options and is also very personable. He is never late and the office is beautiful and tranquil. You will not be disappointed. I have been a patient of his for over 2 years and if I have any worries, he does not hesitate to have me come in so he can take a look.

Dr. Nguyen has been my dentist since 2000 and I still go to him for any work done. Not only did he remember things that we talked about 6 months prior when I had my cleaning done last, he talks to me like an equal and always tried to find ways to relate to me so we could have a conversation. For the last 13 years that I have been coming here, my insurance has never been charged for a procedure that did not that and that I did not approve of.
His staff, they are all great people, they are fluent in Spanish and Vietnamese and are able to help. They are courteous and do not treat anyone with disrespect, in fact it is quite the opposite. They treated everyone with respect even when I saw a patient that was having a bad day and taking it out on the staff, the staff still kept calm and did their best in order to please the patient, whom later came back and apologized for their behavior.
The office layout, he recently moved into a new building (new pictures are not up yet) 2 years ago. It is a beautifully designed office which Dr. Nguyen designed himself with very little help from an interior decorator. Since I have been going to him for a while, I was given a tour of the office and it was designed very nicely.
Overall, I have always been pleased with all my visits, procedures, and people in the office. My parents and their friends all go here and I a number of my friends go to Dr. Nguyen’s office as well.
As for the review with 1 star, I can say that Dr. Nguyen has treated every single new patient just as if they were long-​time patients of his.

Dr Nick and his staff is one of the friendliest staff that my family has ever been with. We were with him at his old office up til now in this new location.
Our 3 year old son just started visiting him and being his first dentist, he’s so calm and resolve.
The staff goes through continuous education and training that I’m happy to continue visiting his office for years to come.

I went for the fisrt, and last itme, for a cleaning and the bill to the insurance came out to $ 1200, was billed for 4 quadrant deep cleaning. There was no deep cleaning, there was just a regular cleaning. I haven’t met an honest dentist yet in the local area of San Jose. What’s with the 2 glowing reviews from people from out of state, fishy anyone?

Dr Nick is one of the best dentists I’ve ever had. I’ve been a patient of his for a year, needing massive amounts of reconstructive work on my teeth, and he and his staff have always been kind and caring to me. I’m not a great patient but Dr Nick is patient, and they do good work. Most of the teeth I have right now aren’t real, but you’d never know it. And any complaints I have are immediately looked into and handled.
Dr Nick will always be the dentist who made me look like a human being again. I may not be able to finish the work we started, thanks to a layoff and lack of funds, but he got me this far at least. I’m out of pain, and I look less like a freak than when I walked in, and I’m able to eat something other than mashed potatoes again. :)
Someday, when I win the lottery and can have my pick of dentists, I’ll be right back on Dr Nick’s doorstep.

Dr. Nick has been my dentist since I had my implant procedure. He is the most caring and honest dentist I have had my entire life. If you are looking for a dentist who will make your smile beautiful that come to Dr. Nick.

I’ve had Dr. Nick as my dentist for as long as I could remember, and I haven’t had a bad experience from him ever since. He makes you feel at ease with the procedures and whatnot. Every time I go to my dental checkups, we spend a good couple minutes talking about anything… graduate school, my job, cars, my family, money… he makes you forget that you’re about to get a filling or even just have your regular checkup.
The staff is helpful and knowledgeable as well. He has interns (I guess that’s what it’s called) from time to time and have him help out with typical dental procedures so they can learn the ropes of dentistry. This doesn’t bother me one bit, but for some people it might freak them out if anyone else besides your dentist or his assistant does the actual work.
Highly recommended.
