great store! i went in with my daughter looking for a specific shoe. they didn’t have it (something from last season), but the guy there helped us find the same thing in an adult size. they were out of the size she ended up needing, so he looked around to find it at another location. he even called them to make sure they really had it in stock before sending us there, and gave us a coupon because of the extra effort for us to go elsewhere. wow, totally unexpected and thoughtful. great service!

i don’t generally shop here, as i don’t fit in most of their shoes, and the quality of their products is generally pretty low.
i came in with a companion who was purchasing a purse. they are having their «bogo» sale right now, but she only purchased one item. the woman behind the counter was extremely helpful, she mentioned that as long as the sale is on, we can come back with our receipt and purchase any item (except their green-tagged items) for half price.
the other thing that she did that was really helpful was asking us if we have a AAA membership, which i do, so we saved 10%! i love an unexpected deal, and i had no idea that payless had this perk.

Great Customer Service. Went in today to see what their policy on defective shoes was. Alberto replaced them no receipt no hassle. He also said I could get a pair at half off. They have a sale buy 1 get 1 half off. As a Retail Store Manager myself I say great job Alberto.

2^nd time in there and I’ll never go in that store again. Picked up a pair of sneakers for my son this evening, they were too small and we went back 30min later, they’d just closed 5min’s prior and the manager told me to drive 6miles away because that store was open still. There were still some people in the store and I thought he’d let me do an exchange. I will be returning my purchase tomorrow and shop for kids shoes elsewhere…
