got the butter chicken and it was not what i’ve had at other establishments. It was thick and pasty and had no spice at all, i felt like i was eating yams and chicken… Dhaba in tracy is a drive but the way to go!

Pros: 1. The«Vijayawada biryani» is tasty, although every restaurant doesn’t bother to remove the fat on the chicken in this biryani. 2. They have cakes/pastries as well. A couple of egg-less cakes available too. Cons: 1. They rarely attend the phone calls. I think they should start caring for the calls. 2. Small place, can’t really dine in. I always take-out 3. Not sure if they receive too many orders or they cook too little, but most of the times they run out of biryanis

Went in on a Wednesday evening around 8pm to pick up food to go. All people coming in were only ordering to go. I ring the bell, was answered promptly. Waited about 15 minutes for fresh naan to finish. They very kindly gave me an extra container of rice without me asking. What I ordered: — Butter chicken: great — Palak Paneer(spinach and cheese): a thicker consistency compared to other places which I appreciated but wished there was more paneer — Gongura Goat: the fact that they have goat is great because that’s not common but the dish was a tad salty for me — Garlic naan: fantastic, fluffy, not too much garlic — Paneer naan: also fantastic — Mango lassi: not as thick and creamy as other places but decent A solid experience for me. Would go back to pick up other items. The staff in the back looked very busy so I imagine this is not the type of restaurant where you should expect to be waited on hand and foot.

It used to be the best. But recent times the quality has gone down really bad infact worst. The management/casher is not friendly and rude with dont care attitude. Food quality is really really bad. Chicken 65 was in very bad taste and the cauliflower munhcurion was half-cooked both were horribly spicy. In fact I had my stomach burning for several hours even after taking very small amount. The Chicken biriyani had 3 chiicken pieces with full of masala and horribly spicy again. All these came after I specifically mentioned less spicy. I guess this was my last visit. I would never recommend anyone going to this restaurant. I didnt believe when my friends said about their quality of restaurant recently but I experienced it now.

For a starter and biryani to be served in a paper plate and no table service $ 20 is definitely expensive. Not worth it.

Their biryani is supposedly good. I ordered a dine-in and found a long strand of hair in my biryani. During our next visit we asked for some fresh cut onions to go along with biryani, but the cashier/server refused. Come on, it takes less time cutting an onion than refusing. All the Peacock stores need to have new cashiers. Their current cashiers are sort of snobbish and uncooperative.

The restaurant is small and unlike other peacock restaurant, this guys have no interest in giving fresh food or keeping all the menu items. They are lucky that a nearby Indian restaurant(in same complex) is lot worse.

Worst possible service I’d ever encountered as far as Indian Restaurants are concerned, in the whole of the United States ! My wife had ordered a To-Go of Mutton Biryani and when we picked it up at 9:45 pm that night, half hour after ordering, we returned home, only to discover that they’d packed VEGETABLE biryani instead and had charged for MUTTON biryani. As they’d closed for the night, we called them up the next morning only to be told that they would only give HALF-CREDIT ! At the very LEAST I would expect a profuse apology for their short-sightedness ! Instead they were speaking as if we should bring the packet back. I think this is absolutely ridiculous ! What did they expect ? 1. Keep the packet till the next morning and then return them the ROTTEN packet back to him ? 2. Throw it away and show them proof. HOW would I do it ??? 3. Stand outside all night outside their restaurant till they open up in the morning, with the parcel ? I really and UTTERLYFAILTOUNDERSTAND their logic ! In any case, would they be able to reimburse me for the disappointment ?! The guy who was rude on the phone goes by the name of SUDEEP, apparently ! Please be more DECENT when dealing with your customers ! Managers/Owner: I hope you would train your staff better in future please !

Peacock has great catering as well as food, but they could be a bit more specific on the prices of the catering trays. Otherwise, the food is well done, and my family is never upset. I have seen that sometimes, they forget some curry that we have ordered, although, it has not happened so often. This little café is a fabulous place to get a quick to-go dinner from.

I like to order the chick marsala and garlic nana here. The marsala have that burnt vaggie in the sauce is awesome and so is the garlic nana. One of my favorite Indian food place, but every time that I call to order between 3−4pm they never pick up the phone.

So there is no denying it, the food is very good and tasty. However seriously the man at the counter taking our order was rude. I asked the difference between two paneer dishes, nicely, and he have me the rudest answer. In addition the setting is really not very nice. I don’t know why they have the tables there at all. They give you all of the food in a brown bag to go even if you say you will have it there. Also — tried to order the dosa. He said it would take 20m. So I decide to order naan instead. When we are finish ordering he says? Ok it’s going to be 20m. Why? I mean I would have stuck with my dosa order if I had known. At that point he had been so rude I didn’t even want to change my order.

Chicken tikka Kabab and chilli chicken are Good but rest of the stuff is OK. Stay away from Curries i.e. chicken tikka masala, butter chicken and Malai kofta. They even add lot of cream to Saag(palak) paneer. Customer service is OK, and yes we even liked their Goat curry(one extra star for that)

My new go-to hole in the wall for delicious Indian food! The garlic naan, chicken curry, and of course the butter chicken were all so amazing and flavorful. Def coming back to try more!

Their chicken biryani is our go-to dish. Also nice is their Chicken tikka kabob, butter chicken and madhu wadha. I have eaten some food that felt a bit… old? I’d be careful of their Malai Kofta or Saag Paneer, it can be hit or miss I can see how some folks are frustrated with their lack of manners and disorganized workspace, but luckily I haven’t had any of those issues, except for the one time I had to wait about an hour and half for some food.

The customer service is horrendous. The guy ran out of the biryani, which is fine. When we told him that he should have informed us when we placed the order, he said,“you want it, then take it otherwise leave the order.” That is NOT the way you talk to a customer. You would not find my dead body over here just being honest. There are MANY other better Indian places to go to.

Disappointing service, very rude staff. Food was far from tasty. We reached there at 9.25, the restaurant owner told us that they will be closing at 10.00. The waiter took our order saying it was the last order for the day, order for desserts or pastries also could not be placed later. The biryani was half cooked and the paneer vegetable had no more than five pieces of paneer in it. Would never want to consider this place again!

After hearing about their«best ever briyani» I decided to finally try it. I ordered the chicken briyani, a cauliflower dish, and some garlic naan. The briyani was good enough but nothing really special. I’m no means an expert on briyani but the dish had too much clumps of heavy spices that was too pungent for me. The cauliflower dish was okay but a bit light on substance. If you’re not used to super«authentic»(good or bad depending on your taste) setting, you may be somewhat intimidated since the place appears to have mostly Indian/Pakistani clientele.

Eeks! I found a piece of plastic in my food! Are they trying to kill their customers? I ordered delivery from this place through foodtoyou. The food arrived, missing one item — but the real shock was when I took a bite of the Medu Vada — it had a pretty sizable piece of plastic cover in it! It is apparent that the piece of plastic had gotten into the batter, had been deep fried and was in a horrendous state! Plastic is toxic — I don’t know what kind of hygiene these guys follow when dealing with food! I am going to complain to the appropriate authorities — these folks could seriously harm someone with their food. Pictures of the«plastic medu vada» aka proof of crime are attached to the ‘photos’ section of this business.

I went yesterday for the first time in at least six months, and they changed the layout of the little restaurant a little bit. Before, they had a little takeout window where you placed your orders. Now, they knocked out that part(I think it was so they were able to add a bathroom to the back of the restaurant), and then there’s just a cash register where you order. This honestly doesn’t really affect much of the restaurant, but I thought I’d just point it out there because it looks different inside. Food was delicious, as always. My friend and I decided to go with the lunch special, which allows you to pick one of their listed entrees, and you get naan, rice, and two little cups of some lentil based dish as side dishes. Definitely a steal and perfect portions for lunch! They have free water available from a water cooler but the cups are VERY tiny! Practically dixie cup sized.
