Peninsula Sandblasting

Gary and Cole showed up on time and sandblasted my driveway and walkway. They did an excellent job removing asphalt residue and stains. I was very satisfied. They worked efficiently and the price was reasonable. I would not hesitate to use them in the future or recommend them to others.

Gary and his son are professional, conscientious, reliable and master craftsmen with the sandblaster. They transformed what would have been a boring driveway into a work of art. They were careful to do a test section to make sure they knew what we wanted and they checked with us to make sure we were satisfied when they began the job. I highly recommend them.

I contacted Gary after being disasstified with some work that was done on the concrete patio around my pool. The patio had been sandblasted and then stained and sealed. It looked terrible. Gary and his son Cole came out to look at the job and right away made me feel better that he could fix the problem. He had to sandblast off the previous work while still leaving a nice finish. Gary is amazing! He does quality work and is very professional. He took good care of the property while he was working and kept as much sand out of my pool as he could! I would highly recommend Gary for any sandblasting job.

Our 50 year-​old ranch house, with a long entry porch, had a problem. Whenever the polished concrete surface got wet, it turned into a icy slick surface. Covering it with bricks or pavers would have altered the height of the step to the house, and the step up from the driveway, so we elected to try sandblasting to retexture the surface. Gary came out, listened to our concerns, and said «no problem». and it wasn’t. 30 minutes later, the formerly slick surface had been transformed into an attractive, clean porch, with a light sandstone texture.
Bottom-​line: nice work, great attitude, impressive skills. I’d use them again in a heartbeat.

Gary and his son are awesome! They just sandblasted 75% of my house and garage because I wanted to have it painted but the vine growing up the house that I thought was so pretty turned out to be quite a problem! They did a wonderful job and were very professional. One of my roof tiles was not nailed down so it broke during the sandblasting, Gary told me right away and then spent the next day trying to find another tile to replace it. When he found it, he even bought me a few extras so I would have them if I ever needed them. His team was even able to finish early which saved me some money (Big bonus!!). I totally recommend Gary and his son if you need any sandblasting done!

Love Gary and his son !! They rescued me after another local South Bay sandblaster came to take paint off my concrete patio and failed miserably.
The first guy tried for twenty minutes then told me he couldn’t do it. It was impossible and would ruin my concrete. He said there were other parts that he could do as it wasn’t so thick. I told him to go ahead with the other parts and I would talk with him after I returned from taking my daughter to school Well, I returned 15 minutes later and the guy had packed up and left! He wouldn’t answer or return my calls. Very strange. This also put my landscaping project back days !
I looked on Unilocal for someone else, called Gary and he came out the next day. Gave me a reasonable quote and diagnosed why the first guy couldn’t get the paint off. Gary has obviously been doing this a long time and knows his stuff. He is also a very nice guy too! Once I told him what had happened he asked me if the previous sandblaster was (X) and I said,“yes, how did you know?”. He told me I was the third job in three weeks that he had to go complete a job after the same guy. Gary just left after completing the job to my satisfaction. I was so pleased I got right on here to write a review!
All I can say is, make sure you have the right sandblaster the first time! There’s not many around, make sure it’s Gary you call. I have recommended him to my neighborhood association (over 400 families) and my landscaper will be using him from now on also.
