I’ve been going to Monica for the 17years. Not only is she a GREAT stylist but she also takes care of your hair health wise. She is the only person I trust to cut my hair. If your looking for a person who will do it right the first time, she’s the one.

Monika has been doing my hair and both of my daughters hair every since she first started. I love her work and her family, they are family to me. Yaneese & Aron are excellent stylist when you go there you get a family feel there love it there

So I went here a few weeks after giving birth to my daughter back in 2010. My hair was a complete horrid mess and I needed a hairstyle that I wouldn’t have to take care of a lot.
During this time I was still breast feeding and had to bring my daughter to the salon. Her father helped me for a while but had to leave to get extra hair for the twists that I was getting.
The reason I am giving this place one star is because they sat me next to a trash can in the back to breastfeed and people were walking in and out grabbing products and using the bathroom. It was a mess as well and there were flies everywhere.
That being said I will never go back here.
P. S. I am grateful to the lady that did my hair; she did a fabulous job. This was only a review from my experience at the time, not the satisfaction of how my hair looked.

I have gone to this shop a few times to get my 11year old daughter’s hair done. My daughters hair is really curly and thick Monica is the shop owner and does an excellent job. I highly recommend her services for all ages and hair types. The shop is fun and lively just like the kind you see in the movies! :O) I leave there with a fist full of laughs every time.

Writing on behalf of my 13yr old baby girl who was referred by her cousin to get her hair done by Monika =], she is the truth! Not only she does her hair good, she is made my gal happy and pretty!
Even my co-​workers and my own hair stylist in Rose Garden reassured me to go to her shop for any hair services for my family and all. My husband likes the barbershop and the tv while waiting for his baby girl get her head did!!!

I have followed Monika the owner where ever she goes. She has been doing my hair for over 20 years! I have recommened countless people to her and her shop and have NEVER had anyone come back disappointed. She has cut my hair from very short to very long. She can do it all. I LOVE her and no matter where I move, I will always come back to her. Thanks Monika!

I’ve been going to Phat Efx for about two years now and I’m a pretty satisfied customer. I am especially a more satisfied client since they’ve moved into their new location on Blossom Hill Rd. The atmosphere is so much more professional and better aesthetically.
I love my stylist, Aaron! He takes his time at what I want and his hair care services are second to none. He’s extremely friendly and hospitable. My husband has been hooked-​up by Shawn, one of the barbers, and he loved what she did for him. They both definitely deserve their prices and tips for their services and skills.
I’m definitely a customer as long as Aaron stays there.

Went here awhile back and soon as I walked in, the barbers just looked at me and my cousin. Didn’t say anything to us. We sat there for awhile waiting for a fresh cut. All of a sudden an African American kid walks in and they say he’s next in line for a cut. I’m thinking wtf? Probably cause I’m asian? I don’t know. But don’t go here. Go to Hair Masters a few blocks down. The environment is wayyyyy better and friendlier.

This is a pretty chill place to get a good cut. It’s hard to find good barbers in the south bay, but I’ve never left here dissapointed. Some of the barbers are perfectionist so if you’re looking to get a quick wham bam shave you man this aint the place. But, if you have a little patience you’ll get that fresh fade or taper that will have the ladies doing double-​takes this is the place. It’s worth it.
