I was an original sponsor on Kickstarter many months ago, but I had never received my «free» Legend Meter for whatever reason. Fast forward to a couple of months ago and I had since actually bought and paid for another Legend Meter again, received and used it, and absolutely loved it, and now want to buy another one… So I tried to use their website’s to order another one but the site had a bug that day which kept refusing to accept my credit card number. So I had to wait over the weekend to contact their Customer Service directly. I called the following week and Richard called back later same day and told me that he alerted IT and now the website is fixed. I checked it while we were on the phone together and, yes, their site is now fixed. I place the order for a battery backup along with my 2nd Legend(to get free shipping), but while I was doing this live on their website, I casually mentioned to Richard and I never got my Kickstarter Meter. Ok, he said he’d check but, frankly, since i had already ordered my 2nd meter and my battery online, I figure he’d just let it go. Well, Richard called back later to let me know that he will add a 2nd meter(would now be my 3rd which my wife can use anyway) to my order, then later called again to let me know the order has been shipped, and again last Friday to make sure that I got my order and that I am fully satisfied. So while he called 4 times in total, I do appreciate his desire to fix the problem and to make sure that I am now fully satisfied. Well, I am satisfied with him and, now, with PLX and I would imagine that I’d not be afraid to call them again if I have any other issues. I appreciate his customer service and follow up…

Richard was very helpful today, even laughed at my asking if he was a former Microsoft employee when he had me unplug and plug in the battery to solve my problem. I ordered the Luxor off kick starter and waited a long time to recieve my flashlight. I was happy with it’s performance. Like any flashlight I stored it for a few months and upon needing it, nothing happened, no power. Now I am returning it hopefully under warranty. Richard assured me I will be taken care of. While I wish that my Luxor had shipped already, I’m grateful for Richard E getting me in line for the upgraded Luxor 2. I’ve been using my Legion 2 since last year and in every case it has performed better than my expectations. I’m sure that the PLX team is working to make the Luxor 2 everything it should be.

I ordered a Kiwi 2 from PLX Devices about a week ago. The website form I ordered at told me I made a mistake a couple of times, and the third time I tried to place an order I got order confirmation and an order number. The next day my bank account showed two charges for the total price of the Kiwi 2, so I emailed customer service and they told me the order number I had received had been cancelled and I would get a refund in 7 – 10 days. My question then was do I still have a Kiwi 2 on the way, and what is my order number? I called customer service and spoke to Rich, who got my actual order number for me an assured me a Kiwi 2 was on the way to me. A few days later I requested my tracking number and it was given to me incorrectly, but Rich eventually emailed it to me where I noticed a digit had been left out accidentally. My Kiwi 2 should be delivered to me tomorrow according to USPS tracking and I look forward to learning more about the health of my van’s engine with the aid of a Kiwi 2.
