Puph Vapor Store

This is a great spot. Excellent service, Alex and Derek are very knowledgeable. They were able to answer all my question and recommended tasty flavors. They also helped with my first RBA free of charge and showed me all the things to watch out for. Best of all, they had a good understanding of ohms law which convinced me to finally try sub ohm vaping where many other stores were unable to do
Another plus with this location are the hours they keep, they are open a lot later than most vape shops with superior service than typical head (smoke) shops
Lastly, they have samples you can try before you buy

Puph Vapor is the one stop shop and is my go-​to store for all of my vaping needs. Whether it be for new tasty custard juices or new hardware, Puph ALWAYS has your back. One of the things I like best about this store is the staff’s eagerness to help and the knowledge that they have to offer their customers. I have been coming to these guys since they opened in the Tropicana Mercado and they have only gotten better with the goods and services they offer. If you want things to be done right the first time then swing on by Puph and they will take care of you.

What did I know about vape? Nothing. However, I didn’t need to because the guys here know everything. They build coils, recommend products and flavors, and stock hard to find juices. Mine is sweet tooth and David held it for me, and even greeted me when I walked in the door!
This is a actually a liquor store called Lucky Liquors, so just above the door is a sign that says Puph Vapor. They have great hours and were even open on Memorial Day when many other shops were closed. It is inside the center about 5 buildings back and parking was easy.
You can also grab a bottle of Grey Goose while you’re there!

The guys are funny and cool; even my girlfriend likes hanging out while they build my coils and talk vaping. They also make the absolute best juice of all time – seriously, their house flavor ‘Reload’ is delicious.
This is inside Lucky Liquor, worth noting because they have an excellent selection of beer and make great recommendations. I love this place!

Can’t say enough positive things about Puph Vapor. These guys are amazing! Very knowledgeable about juices and mods. Great selection of juice as well. I bought a mod from them which stopped working after one day. When I brought it back in they tested it out, tried a few different things to fix it, and then ended up replacing it for me free of charge! I’ll definitely be going back.

Came here to buy my first vaporizer. They were very helpful and answered all my questions. They recommended me the items that would suit me best, I’m really satisfied with my purchase.

I was recommended by some friends to get my vape set up here and I was not disappointed! I was welcomed by the brothers Alex, Derek, and their dog, which made me feel really comfortable. It had that warm cozy home feeling to it. I explained to Alex that I was new to vaping and what kind of style vape mod I wanted. Alex gave me some very helpful information and taught me a lot. There were many mods and atomizer to choose from which made it a bit difficult for me to pick one out on my own. Luckily Alex was there to help me pick out the perfect mod and atomizer. After picking one out Alex taught me how to build it and he also set it up for me. After that the toughest part was to choose what kind of juice I wanted and I was able to try them all out. Alex didn’t care how much time he had to spend on a customer as long as they are satisfied with the out come from it. After picking the perfect mod and juice I was very thirsty so I decided to grab a beer for the road. Not only did Alex helped me pick out a mod, but he also helped me pick out beer! I left PUPH VAPOR STORE a happy camper with my new mod and a nice cold IPA and will definitely be coming back! I really recommend this vape/​liquor shop to anyone who wants vape stuff or beer or just to kick it because Alex and Derek are very down to earth and very guys that knows their stuff!

Brief history:
My brother was «robbed» of his money at a pretty famous VAPE store in San Jose. I will not say any names but the initials are P and V. Like him, I was/​am wounded from his experience. He was recommended by some of my other brothers friends to give them a try. Give them a try they said, it’ll be amazing they said, the only thing amazing was my brother actually walked out with his debit card intact. They basically got him for $ 400+ in vape supplies and what not when it should have cost him less than half. They took advantage of his lack of knowledge in the vape scene and basically took him for as much as they could. «Wrapped shit in paper and called it a present» is the analogy I’d like to use.
My experience at Puph Vapor:
Have you ever gone to a place where you knew that this was the right place to go and as soon as you get home, you’d have to write a stellar review? Well my friends, this is one of those places. I would call it the «Eldorado» of vape stores in San Jose. In San Jose, there are as many vape stores as pricks on a cacti. So why did I choose this one? What made this one stand out from all the others? Why did I drive all the way from Stockon, CA on a Thursday at 5:30 PM to the bay area just to go to this one? Well my friends, one simple acronym would suffice, and that is WOM (Word of Mouth).
You can tell from my other reviews that I don’t usually take the time to write a review like this, but this experience was something to write about. I am in the customer service industry and I appreciate it when I receive stellar customer service. I’m going to give you a play by play on how my experience was when I first entered Puph Vapor. I had just parked my car and started walking toward the store. I was greeted by Derek who was sitting there with his dog on his lap (gorgeous dog by the way). His brother Alex was just finishing up showing another customer accessories for their vape. I waited and when Alex saw me he greeted me with a smile and asked how I was and what he can do for me? I was pleased and waited till he was done. Alex didn’t judge me at all when I came in, (i looked like a bum to be honest haha), he didn’t care what I was wearing, but was happy to see what he can do to help my vape needs. I told him my whole story about my brother being robbed by that other vape store, he was as furious as I was as he assured me that people who do business like that are unethical and that I came to the right place. I told him I wanted a completely new set up and that the last time I owned a vape was back when all they had were eGo-C’s in 2010. He asked me what I was looking for and what he could help me choose, I told him «If you didn’t work here and had the knowledge you had and wanted to buy yourself a new vape, which one would you choose?» I wanted to know his favorite!
On to the selection, he had a vast variety of set up’s and atomizers I could choose from, my god I didn’t know what to choose! He saw my face and walked from behind the counter to the front and literally helped me choose each piece for my perfect set up! I ended up going with the penny battery? (I have no idea what it’s called but its the long copper battery haha). Once we figured out that part, the next step was to choose an atomizer. He wanted to show me some atomizers that would save me a few bucks. I appreciated it, but I wanted quality! He then brought out the «Vulcan» Atomizer. He began to go over the pros and cons about it and why it costs so much. I ended up taking the Vulcan as well ahah. So now we have the atomizer and the battery, what next? I chose a mouth piece for my vape and they he began to go into showing me how to build my atomizer and how to make it the perfect build. He went over why cotton isn’t as good as Sylica and where to put the liquids for the vape and why do we use 26 gauge wire instead of 24. I was quite impressed. His precision can not be matched, even though the build was probably 2% off from perfect, he was still adamant about fixing it! That was when I really appreciated his meticulous nature for perfection. I would say we were probably there for a good two hours. He set me up with a G case, two top of the line samsung batteries, some vape liquids, a carrying case and a few other things! After all was said and done, it was time to pay the piper. Little did he know I was willing to spend about $ 400 for all the knowledge and products he was setting me up with, he charged me about half the price of that! I was astonished! I even asked him if there was anything I could do for him because I couldn’t thank him enough for everything he did for me. All he said was «No, just come back if you have any questions and if you need help with rebuilding the atomizer when it goes bad in a few weeks.» All I could say is «Oh hell yeah!» So the only thing I could think of is to write him this mediocre review. Now if this isn’t great customer service I don’t know what is. I am definitely coming back!
