The San Jose facility is mostly for remote students to log into classes where the instructor is in another location but this location tends to have the best snacks! +1 star for the snacks!
The staff here is also very friendly +1 star for the friendly staff
The location while not right in the heart of San Jose or Sana Clara it does have ample parking +1 star for plenty of parking
And most importantly the instructors at Quickstart are some of the best I have seen. +1 star for technical excellence in the instructor category!
–1 star for no liquid refreshments, there is coffee and water but I’m more of a Mountain Dew kinda guy.

I had attended a 5 day SharePoint Admin/​Config class at QuickStart in San Jose, because the same class closer to home (San Francisco) was already full.
The San Jose location is what you would expect from most technical training facilities. Their computers were up to date, utilizing virtual environments (Hyper-​V) for our lab work. The instructor taught at a very comfortable pace, and was very keen at noticing when the class’ focus was starting to fade; ready for a break. He gave mini breaks so students can get up and stretch, get some coffee, etc.
Because of the 45 minute commute to class, I requested if I could complete the class remotely. They had no problems with that, and set me up to log into my classroom computer (remotely from the comfort of home, haha). My commute to class each morning was now just 5 feet away from bed. ;)
I would have liked to give QuickStart (or any similar technical training facilities such as LearnIT), more than just 3 stars, but from my experience a 5 day class just isn’t enough time to really get the most out of something so deep as SharePoint. I’ll hang on to their 1 (or 2) extra star (s) until they have a 2 week in-​depth SharePoint course (at the same current price).
