According to some friends, this place has been opened for quite some time. According to Unilocal reviews, it’s been reviewed for 2 months. According to myself, this place isn’t really worth mentioning. Came by after visiting Claw Shack because I was craving something sweet and noticed the neon OPEN sign. The place is empty with random décor all around. Empty decoration wise, empty population wise. There is no order, no consistency, except for a really strong sense of Viet Nam/Asia. Nothing is wrong with reminding me of VN … but the inconsistency in décor is really a pet peeve. There’s a door in the middle of right wall that leads to the Vietnamese bar next door. Both sides play extremely loud music to overlap each other or something but my cousin and I couldn’t hear each other. We were sitting right next to each other. Ridiculous. Behind the curtain is a guy… he’s supposed to take your order, make the drinks, everything. PERKS: BUY2GET1FREE. [It was so loud he couldn’t even hear the order, repeated 3x] It took a while for our drinks to come out and they came out one at a time. It was sweet of the guy to walk towards us(we were sitting by the door) and hand us the first drink. BUT in comes this girl from the bar, walking straight towards the counter, looking at us like she got caught at a bad moment with some random sketchy guy following her from the bar(«I’m only here for the girl») went to the back. 3 minutes later, she came back with our second drink and said hi extremely. awkwardly. then our third drink came out and just sat on the counter. It just sat there. The guy didn’t get up. The girl didn’t smile. I don’t even know. Overall, being here was really off putting and the drinks were 90% ice, 5% sugar, 4% flavor powder, and 1% tea. It took my cousin a couple sips and the drink completely evaporated displaying a cup full of ice.

I visited this place today for the first time and I got a Jasmine Milk Tea w/Pearls, a Strawberry Smoothie w/Pearls, and a Jasmine Milk Tea w/«Pasion Pop». The Strawberry Smoothie tasted like strawberry ice cream and Nesquik strawberry milk. Both of the Jasmine Milk Tea does not taste like Jasmine Milk Tea. The pearls tasted very hard and chunky. The«Pasion Pop» is okay.

New tea joint that opened up in this plaza! When swinging by for dinner at Clawshack on a Tuesday evening at 7pm, the store was brightly lit and inviting, but lacking customers. Hopefully it gets off the ground soon! I may try it next time I’m not stuffed from eating nearby.
