I would like to commend Dr. Rice for her willingness and compassion to listen and attempt new types of lens. I have a severe astigmatism in my right eye that has always been extremely difficult to fit. I had a co-​worker tell me about Pro Clear Multi Focal lenses and how satisfied he was with them. I was at the point of giving up on contacts and going back to glasses that I have wore since second grade but thought it was worth a shot to try one more time. I had mentioned these contacts to Dr. Rice and she could have discouraged me from these she said, «We can try but they either work or they don’t work.» They came in and when I put the right contact in it truly was astonishing, it was the best fit and vision I have had from that eye in many years. I don’t even wear reading glasses anymore with this new type lens. A doctors best attribute is their ability to listen and understand their patient and Dr. Rice does an OUTSTANDING job at that.

Dr. Rice is a caring, dedicated vision care professional with particular skill in helping children and adults to improve their vision. We worked well together to overcome my neuro-​visual difficulties after significant injuries. Dr. Rice’s steadfast encouragement, good humor and vision training were key factors in my rehabilitation. I continue to use the many skills and exercises Dr. Rice taught me to optimize my ability to process visual information. Dr. Rice is a leader in her field and keeps up with new developments. i greatly respect her knowledge and how she works with other interdisciplinary medical team members in support of her patient’s best outcomes. I highly recommend Dr. Rice to individuals and parents who care about having the best vision possible for themselves and for their children.
