Granted, it took a while to get the parts ordered and that appointment scheduled, but once you’ve got that, the rest was a breeze. An employee came out to my work location, and finished work in under an hour. He was right on time(a little early, even), and kept in touch with me via phone, so I always knew what the status was. I had an auxiliary audio input installed in my car, and the part would have cost $ 99.99 from a dealer. For a round $ 100, I had the same part installed by the nice guys at Right Way Mobile. Hard to beat that!

Everyone, You need to understand that this is a mobile business. Not a storefront. Jerry comes to your car, You don’t take your car to Jerry. First, I’d back up the last commenter. Jerry does quality work, to be certain. However the time-management issues are beyond tolerable. I came to Jerry by way of Steven’s Creek BMW. My car spent over a month getting worked on. Most of the time, I would stop in at SCBMW to see what progress was being made, but my car was just collecting dust. Poor response time to phone calls as well. a weeks turn around on phone calls is the norm. On the plus, when I got my car back, but wanted to make some additional tweaks to get the I.C.E. perfect. Jerry came to my work and to my home on several occasions to make things right at no additional charge. Still, getting Jerry to come to those followup appointments was no easy task. I give Jerry an average rating. 5 stars for quality workmanship but have to deduct 2 stars for poor organization on the administrative side. Jerry, I’m sure you read your own ratings and you can probably guess who I am, so here is some advice. 1) Working with customers, insurance, SCBMW is a bitch, I’m sure. Still, be proactive. Take ownership. For example, if there is a delay in ordering parts, tell the customer ASAP and revise your ETA. 2) Yes, I know the customer is generally stupid, but tell me what you need so we can get the job wrapped up ASAP. I can’t read minds, and all I know is that you’re not returning my calls, and my car is nowhere near complete. 3) Hire more staff or reduce your workload. I know you are stuck because you can’t afford the best installers on earth and at the same time, you don’t want business to walk away. But stop taking on more jobs than you personally have time for. Quality first, then word of mouth will amp up the quantity of business. 4) Finally, on a personal note. You killed my car battery and used up all my gas while testing the electronics. By the time I took delivery of my car, I didn’t have enough gas to get down El Camino to the gas station on Lawrence. On top of that the battery wouldn’t start after i had to push my BMW the rest of the way to the filling station. This is a situation were Everybody assumed/Somebody else would/Anybody could have/and Nobody did. Yeah, I am still pissed, but not all at you since everyone shares in the responsibility of delivering my car to pre-accident condition. But jeez man, speak up. How much do you think I enjoyed my new stereo, when the car won’t even start cause you/SC BMW killed my battery. My first impression of RW mobile was, «I’m rather NOT enjoying my radio and thinking happy thoughts of Right-Way at this moment.»

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE! I highly recommend you AVOID Right Way Mobile for your audio installation, they are complete FLAKES! Sadly they were referred to me by Stevens Creek BMW, so I’ll be writing them a letter as well. I needed my Sirius Satellite installed and BMW suggested Right Way Mobile Video, but here’s how the experience went… Upon my first call to Jerry Baltizar he asked if he could call me right back, but it took him 2 days to do so. After our conversation he seemed to know what he was doing so I booked an appointment. The morning of he calls and leaves a message that he suddenly had to leave town and would need to reschedule. So we reschedule and when Jerry shows up for our Friday appointment he didn’t bring all the parts that we agreed to on the phone so he says he’ll try to make it back over on Monday, but again no show and no phone call. I travel on business a lot, so I called several times over the course of 3 weeks to both Jerry and Katharine, his assistant and NEVER received a return call. Really terrible service and follow through. As the saying goes, «If we have good service we might tell an average of 1 person, when we have BAD service we tell NOLESS than 10!!» Hopefully I’m saving hundreds or thousands of you from a poor experience with Right Way Mobile Video.
