I enjoyed working with Ron. Him and his Team do fantastic work. He was reasonably priced, easy to communicate with, and very professional. They made sure to leave the area they were working in cleaner than when they arrived. I will use them again.

I had Ron complete a sheetrock job which included a small amount of popcorn removal and hanging new drywall on a few rooms’ ceilings. Also patches throughout the home. The drywall work was pretty good(after the fact, one patch was very noticeable and wasn’t skimmed out far enough), but other than that I was happy with the drywall work. Ron also told me he did HVAC work when I mentioned I would be installing a new system. I ended up hiring him to do both jobs. When he was finished with the HVAC furnace/AC system, it seemed to be working great. I was very happy overall and told him I’d be using him again soon for another project. When I sold the home a few weeks later, the buyer’s inspection showed that the condensation pump for the HVAC system under the house was wired to a switch that Ron had installed. This pump should have constant power, and not be controlled by a switch. It is an easy fix, and I contacted Ron to ask him to do is ASAP so the sale of the house would go smoothly(gotta love that 1 year guarantee on workmanship). Ron said it was an easy fix(which is true, I found out from the person I paid to fix it), and he could come by within the next few days to do it. Called about a dozen times over the next 5 days to arrange a time for him to come fix the problem he created — NEVER heard back from him. I am currently working on another project and would have used him again; however, his lack of follow through on addressing an issue that he created is really poor service. Because of this, I would steer clear of this UNLICENSED contractor. p. s. Doing more than $ 500 in work requires a contractors license just for this reason. So customers have some type of recourse(contacting the state licensing board if need be) if a contractor doesn’t finish what you paid for, or won’t fix an issue they created.

We all hear the stories about various construction services(drywall, paint, remodel, etc.) and how they don’t ever go as planned. I had R&M come in and do a fairly large popcorn strip/tape/texture/paint job on the ceilings of a 2 story house. They told me it would take about 3 days. Spoiler alert — it was done in 3 days. In fact, on day two they stayed until about midnight to make sure that the texture process was complete and ready for paint the next day. By day 3, they were done about midday, but spent the rest of the day cleaning up — thoroughly. The quality of the work is excellent, and I would(and will) engage these guys again for more services — they show up on time, have a good work ethic, are nice guys(father/son team), and are very mindful of leaving the house exactly like they found it(or even cleaner). They also will take the time to explain the hows and whys of the process to you if you ask, which I myself appreciate a great deal. Bottom line — these guys are the real deal, and I highly recommend them.
