The breakfast burrito is so good. Agree with all the fellow Unilocalers here. Filled to the brim with meat, eggs, and the hash browns give it a nice crunch. And at a price of less than $ 6. Tried some of their other breakfast items(including the donuts), which were so so. But clear winner is the burrito. Would travel to this place to get it.

This review is for their doughnuts. I came in around 2PM hoping to get some good doughnuts. Seeing this place has a 4.5 rating with 500+ reviews… I had high expectations. When walking in the place, the place felt more like a café, not a doughnut shop. Maybe that explains the decent tasting doughnuts that I purchased. Anywho: It was in the afternoon and the selection was OK. I got a cake doughnut with lime icing, chocolate twist bar doughnut and a glazed. They looked both appetizing and tasty, no doubt. They were 95 cents. Twist I believe was 1.25. The lime icing cake doughnut was OK. The icing complemented the cake dough very well. The icing had the right amount of lime and sweetness. The dough however was a tad dry. Best tasting one out of the batch. The chocolate twisty bar one was stale and lacked life. The chocolate was decent and the dough lacked flavor. It was very airy and I was disappointed. Didn’t finish it and threw it away. The glaze doughnut was also decent. I had much better glazed doughnuts @Safeway. The glaze on it lacked sweetness, well at least for me it did. My expectations for this place were high, I guess I was wrong. When I pulled out my credit card, I was told it was cash only. Fortunately, I had some change in my car. So make sure you bring the dinero. The service here is decent, I got no smile and no thank you. I guess they don’t appreciate my business. At the end of the day, I had a decent experience at Rose’s. Their doughnuts are decent and service needs some work. I’m guessing 90% of the reviews for this place is about their Café menu items, not the doughnuts. Not worthy of a drive for a V6.

I normally get the Veggie breakfast burritos when I come. I call in and make my order so by the time I arrive, it’s ready! The veggie breakfast burritos are sooo good. It has eggs, avocado, tomato, squash, zucchini and hash browns. I also add cheese, too. I’m not a vegan or vegetarian, I just like to eat something healthier in the morning. They also hook it up with a side of fresh pico de gallo. Love it here.

Rose’s breakfast burritos are so. freakin’. good. For just under $ 6, you get a huge burrito stuffed with not one. but 3 different meats(bacon, ham, and sausage), crispy hash browns, egg, and cheese. Half of one of these babies fills me up and keeps me full all day. It also comes with a side of salsa, but I like it better with extra hot sauce. Because Rose’s is located near the Saratoga shopping plaza, it does get pretty congested with cars during peak hours. Come earlier or later to avoid the traffic. And keep in mind that it’s cash only, although they do have an ATM machine inside.

This may be a donut shop, but their«non-donut» items are so good! I love their burgers and fries. Their fries are ridiculously hot and crispy– honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. I remember back in my high school days when I would actually drive all the way to here for lunch, despite the fact that I was most likely going to be late for my next class(I went to Saratoga High). It was so worth it. Now I’m back again and their food is just as good as before! Great place for both breakfast AND lunch. They serve throughout the afternoon too! Don’t underestimate this place from how it looks from the outside. ;)

Cozy café with casual ambiance. I had the breakfast burrito which was delicious. Might not be enough food for someone for a big appetite but it wasn’t too pricey. Service was a little slower than I expected though. Don’t forget this place is cash only!

My awesome co worker just bought my store the mother of all breakfast burritos. All your breakfast meats plus cheese and eggs and… HASHBROWNS!!! It was so delicious!!! And very hearty. It’s like when a anaconda eats a gazelle… So satisfying!

$ 5.86 for a fully loaded BREAKFASTBURRITO? YES. It comes with BACON, HAM, SAUSAGE, EGG, HASHBROWN&CHEESE on a flour tortilla with a side of fresh salsa. Don’t forget to add ketchup and tapatio! It can get pretty busy around breakfast time but they serve you pretty quickly! I prefer to sit outside because I like to avoid the greasy smell of the flat top grill cooking away our breakfast in the kitchen. Oh and it’s CASHONLY.

I pass by this place all the time since my boyfriend lives close by and I’ve never thought about coming here but he wanted to check it out. It is a tiny shop in a small parking lot. Beware of parking though. It may be difficult! I got the steak breakfast burrito and it was pretty bomb. There are hash browns inside of the burrito and I think my favorite part of the burrito was that the hash browns had a crunch to it! The meat was also seasoned and cooked really well. My boyfriend had ordered the veggie omelet but instead received a veggie burrito. He felt rushed while ordering which probably led to the cashier to hearing his order incorrectly. They took the burrito back and brought out the omelet shortly after. I didn’t find anything special about the omelet. It was also $ 1 for two small sausages! The other things on the menu sounded good, but I probably won’t be coming back here to dine in since the tables have always been full when I stop by. Will definitely be ordering the steak burrito to go though!

The one amazing brunch place in Saratoga and I forgot to check in! Hash house and every other hipster joint was super packed, so I decided to take my friends here! To little olé Rose Donuts and Café! The place is small but that wont deter a large crowd! Their most delectable item is their breakfast burritos! So gooood. Little establishment big attitude!

Came here the day after Christmas morning around 8am and surprisingly no one was there! Limited parking, but I didn’t have to worry about it that morning. I walked in and was overwhelmed by the selection of donuts and pastries they had. I knew exactly what I was getting though. On the recommendation of my coworker, I got the breakfast burrito: jam packed with eggs, hash browns, ham, and sausage, wow! In addition, I got their croissant which was wonderfully flakey and buttery. Their drink selection isn’t anything like Starbucks, but they have the essentials. I didn’t see any espresso drinks, so I decided on the chai tea latte. Boiling hot, so once I got over the initial burning sensation on my tongue, it was a nice creamy, sweet combination. Next time I come back I’d like to try their chocolate croissant… and their BIG giant donuts! O_O CASHONLY. But luckily they have an ATM located right inside by the register.

First of all, ordering here, you feel rushed. I started my order with a steak burrito, and the cashier began to give me a total. Second, after finishing my order which included a veggie omelet, I received a veggie burrito. The cashier probably wouldn’t have gotten that wrong if she wasn’t rushing. I did get a refund for the difference as well. And lastly, the one star is for their great tasting and crunchy hash brown in the steak burrito I ordered. The fact they have Coke makes it even better. Would I come here again? Probably but not as often as you’d think.

I’m not a huge burrito fanatic. but dang this breakfast burrito was GOOD! I was visiting family for Thanskgiving and literally got it 2 days in a row. One breakfast burrito costs a little over $ 5 and half of one was just the right size for me. It has the perfect combination of egg, ham, hash brown, sausage, bacon. Probably not very healthy for you, but I didn’t care ^_^ I also don’t normally write a review for a place and give 5 stars after only trying 1 menu item, but that’s how strongly I feel about their burritos. Strong work, Rose.

I love Rose’s. It’s a popular spot with high school students and locals for its cheap and good brunch/lunch options. Donuts here are made fresh and there are the most giant cinnamon rolls for the mornings you feel ambitious: D BUT if there’s anything you should get here, it is the glorious breakfast burrito. It’s the perfect sized wrap with eggs, sausage, ham, hash browns and bacon. Top it all off with salsa and it’s golden. By far the best breakfast burrito I have ever had. The burgers and fries here are also really good. Their fries are laced with some kind of ridiculous crack. Ugh, words can’t even begin to describe its glory. The burgers are refreshing, and almost remind me of In-n-Out. For those who want non-beef burger options, Rose’s offers turkey and chicken burgers :) Bottom line: everything here is delicious. Just make sure you bring cash because it’s cash only in here. For those who are short on cash, there’s an ATM inside :)

Yummy cheap sandwiches. This place is super crowded and very popular! With few seats, it’s best to get stuff to go. The atmosphere is casual and the menu is larger than the outside appearance of the restaurant would make you think. The BLT was delicious. The bacon was ample and very crispy. The potato salad that they serve on the side was delicious and the portion was good for lunch. I would want to go back and try other things on the menu because the breakfast items look delicious as well. The next time I will try one of their donuts!

Wow wow wow. Breakfast burritos so on point! My dad took me to this place and as we drove up, I was thinking«omg where has he taken me». The building looks old from the outside, with old signage out front just saying«donuts and café». Inside, the menu is hand-written on a whiteboard, with food to order such as burritos, omelettes, platters, french toast, sandwiches, and pancakes. They also have donuts, muffins, and pastries to choose from. Once I checked in on Unilocal and saw the ratings, I breathed a sign of relief. We ordered the breakfast burrito and a strawberry french toast to share. YUM. +++ Breakfast burrito, $ 5.50 +++ Comes with ham, sausage, AND bacon. Hash browns come inside and they’re super crispy. This is by far the best breakfast burrito I’ve ever had. Must must must get!!! The portion looks small, but I only ate half of it and was pretty full already. +++ Fresh strawberry french toast, $ 8.99 +++ Delicious! I was full after only half of the breakfast burrito, but I forced myself to eat half of the strawberry french toast cuz it was that good. Light, fluffy, comes with strawberry syrup/jam on it so I didn’t need any extra syrup on it. +++ Orange juice is fresh-squeezed +++

Review is just for DONUTSANDMUFFINS Donuts OMGHOWARETHEYSOFLUFFYANDGOODOMG These are the BEST donuts in the bay area! I love krispy kreme but these are totally different. krispy kreme is small, flatter and don’t get me wrong, I love me my krispy kreme but the donuts here, they’re a LOT different! They’re a lot bigger than krispy kreme and a lot thicker, breadier and fluffier! I love the chocolate flavor, the maple flavor, and the glazed flavor! These are a MUSTTRY if you’re in the area. The donuts sell out super fast, usually they’re gone by 10am or latest noon. Muffins Personally I really like their muffins because they’re super soft and fluffy. Their blueberry muffins seem to be made with real blueberries and the blueberry flavor infuses itself throughout the entire muffin. It’s great! The cranberry muffin is great as well! It’s definitely more tart than the blueberry but it has a super crispy crunchy muffin top. They sprinkle some big chunks of sugar on it so it creates a really crunchy sugary glaze overtop which balances the tart cranberries really well! If you’re in the area, definitely stop by and try the DONUTS!!! They’re amazing!

I’ve been on a breakfast burrito kick lately. I don’t know why, but I’ve been waking up early these days, before my alarm goes off. So I’ve been treating myself to some breakfast, in the form of a burrito. Rose’s has been around for so long. I ordered the veggie burrito. It comes with eggs(kind of omelette style instead of scrambled), a HASHBROWN(genius!), onions, bell peppers, and avocado. I like the different take on this breakfast burrito with the way the egg is cooked and the hash brown. The breakfast burrito is pretty good and the veggie one was pretty filling. I bet the meat one is probably really good too. The burrito came with salsa that was good too. I didn’t try any of their donuts(I’m not a big donut fan), but I did notice that they had a very large chocolate sprinkle donut amongst their offerings. That is super cool. A large donut. In addition to donuts and breakfast burritos, they also have other breakfast type foods on the menu, like French Toast. The place isn’t huge and the décor is very basic. There’s even some outdoor seating. The parking lot isn’t huge and they share it with the Radio Shack(which might be going out of business?). Definitely will stop by again for another breakfast burrito in the near future!
