Rudy Diaz Painting

I have been looking for a painter on and off in the last year, and finally decided to spend some time looking for someone who could paint the exterior of my house in a timely, efficient, and price-​effective fashion. As an engineer, I am very hard to please, so I really wanted to hire someone who knew their trade, and would do their job efficiently. I found Rudy through another web site (great reviews there as well), and called him up.
He was the first to return my call. He came down, took a look, and sent me a quote the next day. I received several other quotes as well from other 5-​star painters in the same time-​frame. His price was competitive, but I had a few questions for him. He was quick to respond to those questions, and sent me a list of homes he has done in the neighborhood as references.
I had a gut instinct with him — he is very honest, and works with his son, so it is a family business. I hired him after consulting with my wife. A week later, both my wife and I are delighted by the end result.
He helped us choose colors, and did not mind when we chose a color that is bold (earthy brown with a hint of mustard). He did say that this would require 2+ coats, but he was not going to charge me extra for labor for the extra work.
When neighbors start noticing the immaculate prep work Rudy and his son spent time on, something is clearly right with how he takes care of you. 3 – 4 days on prep work. Just awesome. Once the prep-​work was done, he accommodated our color requests, and in the next 2+ days, did a fantastic job with our exterior paint job. Extra coats, great trim work, and primed and painted (4 coats) our front door as well.
I highly recommend Rudy Diaz. He is licensed, bonded/​insured, and has been in this business for a while, so clearly knows his trade. He is old-​school, takes great pride in his work, and left without a spot on the concrete surrounding our house. And he is price-​efficient as well.
Highly recommended. My neighbors are also impressed, and will probably end up hiring him as well based on the results they saw with my house. You can’t go wrong with him for your painting needs. 5 stars!

This guy is absolutely meticulous. He did my crown moulding, my baseboards, and painted my walls. He helped me choose colors too (which can be intimidating to say the least). He also has a good eye for color combos; I did an «accent wall» in the living room. Not a drop of paint anywhere it wasn’t supposed to be, he left our home spotless, and he can be trusted; I gave him my house key and he came and went, completing the job 3 days. I’d recommend him to family, friends, anyone interested in a good painter! He doesn’t accept credit cards, so we went through PayPal which worked just fine.

I highly recommend Rudy to anyone looking for a very professional painter at a reasonnable rate. Rudy is also very friendly, will accomodate your schedule and your need. He will also give you recommendation as for texture, material and color.
Rudy painted a house I sold, then an investment property, inside and out and finally a new house where I moved in. He did a wonderful job painting the trims and molding very carefully and fixing holes and cracks in the walls first. The result is clean, neat and looks beautiful. He always performed the job on time even though I had gave him very tight deadline.

Rudy did a great job painting my kitchen cabinets. His motto is «I won’t leave until your happy» and this is definitely the truth. He is very personable and always on time. He is easy to get a hold of and always responded timely with estimates and examples of work.
