Santek Shop – San Jose

I rented a pocket wifi for my trip to Tokyo. This thing is great. Not only did it last pretty much all day while using it, but I had it for almost a month while in Tokyo and it was the cheapest option I could find. The data speeds were fast, and I was able to get a signal pretty much anywhere I was, even in the 4 or 5 levels below the subway level. It’s small and stays out of the way, great range, and easy setup.
The staff were very helpful, and made it easy to rent the pocket wifi. They were very clear on instructions and terms. Didn’t even ask for a deposit up front, they just kept my card info just incase something were to happen to the device.
I have no complaints about my experience with santek shop.

Came here to inquire about renting a cellphone or getting a SIM card to use in Japan. They were closed early because of a down computer. Very disappointed as I made a trek here specifically for this purpose and I leave to Japan very soon.
They seem to sell a variety of electronics and household tech from Japan, including those heated sears and such.

Today I walked into the store. Picked up a DS game from the wall. Got 30% off. Walked out. I spent no more than 3 minutes in there. I think the store owner might’ve have been a little, huh? what just happened? hahaha
I went there previously and the store owner helped me pick out the game, although I didn’t buy it at the time. After doing an online search, I concluded that Santek had the best price for the Ace Attorney DS game, and consequently went back to buy it.

Santek Shop is one of those hidden gems in San Jose. It’s small of course, but it really is an important store to take note of. Why? It’s because it’s a versatile shop.
Whether it’s for fun or for some serious matter, Santek has you covered. It’s a cell phone place, it’s a game place, it’s a versatile electronic shop. Oh and in case if you’re wondering, yes, it’s an import game shop. As far as I know, it’s the only import game store in San Jose.
As for what makes this place great for me is that besides what I have just said, the one time I was there, it was great. The service is wonderful. When I was wondering around without a care and heading for the exit while forgetting about the payment and my credit/​debit card, the guy who took my order told me to wait up a bit. Heh.
If you need an electronics matter taken care of, try Santek Shop. It may have the electronic item you’re looking for. Just hope that you’re able to find a parking spot.
