awesome place that we’ve missed since my parents move into the neighborhood 6 years ago! I can’t believe I’ve never seen this place. my son(3.5 years), nephew(4.5), and Niece(1.5) loved the park. I really like the bark playground, instead of the traditional sand. all the equipment is new, for playground status. all parents and grand parents, this is a hidden gem. Makes me want to move closer to my parents place, but we love the City life.

This is a good park to walk through. However, I am noticing drug dealings going on in the Cul-de-sac of this park. Young people hanging out in cars shady characters one person got of the car and walked over to another with a bag it was real obvious what they were doing. They hang out and leave make deals. I believe someone should watch this area more closely and call the police.

Now that Im a full time mum. I’m discovering things about my neighborhood that I never knew existed. This park is nestled in right behind Lawrence. It is shady with two play structures and maintained very well. My 10 month old loves the swing and the toddler slide. There is a BBQ area which gets pretty full on the weekends and a stinky dog park which is an extension of the park but far enough from the play area that you wouldn’t even know it’s there!

I used to run here daily. Note the bathroom is closed now, and the water fountains turned off. Whats the deal?

I love this park because I can walk there with my kids. There’s no gate around the play structures, but I never feel like my(running-all-over-the-place) toddlers will run off like at other parks around town. It’s probably because there’s only one access point to the street and that’s through the parking lot. Great playground with 2 structures. One is for big kids and one for toddlers. Both are set in woodchipped areas. There’s also a sand area, teeter-totter, big kid swings and bucket swings. It’s pretty shady there, which is great for the hot summer days here, but it can get chilly. There are bathroom facilities which are pretty clean for a public restroom and they usually have paper towels for hand drying. The parking lot is pretty small, but there’s ample street parking around the corner. Further down the park, there is a dog run. The kids like to go there to watch the dogs!

This is a nice neighborhood park. I went here as a child and my daughter enjoys spending time with Grandma there.

Being that I work in West San Jose, I have had the opportunity to visit this neighborhood park w/the kids I work with. Hidden behind Lawrence Expressway, this park is usually filled with children and their stay-at-home mothers/fathers/grandparents/nannies meeting w/other children for«play dates.» its a really nice and clean park with a clean public restroom. there are two play areas; one for toddlers, and one for older children.. .. The long grassy area is perfect for afternoon picnics, and a small parking area for anyone who doesn’t live nearby.
