The Viet coffee is on point. Been meaning to try their other drinks but always end up ordering a Viet coffee because it’s so good. Not so much the strong and bitter kind… moreso rich and sweet.

I ordered: Classic Milk Tea with no topping & half sweetness Rate: 3⁄5 Too sweet for a half sweetness. It would’ve been better if it’s less sweetness instead of half sweetness.

The price is $ 3.97 for a signature milk tea. I order green tea with aloe, Boba, and grass jelly. They are cheap on the topping. For all that topping I order, there was barely any in my drink. The tea taste like sweet sugar milk. I couldn’t taste any green tea at all. This is my second try here and I must say that it is not for me. Too sweet and not enough topping.

After getting a treadmill in the mall, I wanted boba(I am on a kick this December). We happened to pass by and sure why not? My milk tea was decent, but the hubs got the winner: Green-Orange tea with Pineapple bits. We don’t usually end up near Oakridge, but will stop by here again!

The cashier was really helpful in helping me choose a drink since I’ve never been there before. The tea itself was pretty good(I got a peach mango passion fruit green tea with boba), but the boba was a little too chewy for my preference. Overall, the drinks aren’t too bad for the price :). I’ll probably come back and visit!

Today was my first time at Shake Tea. I was walking around the mall and noticed how many amazing flavors they have. I decided to try the hazelnut flavor. I really liked how the employee recommended that I try it with the black tea. It came out really good! If you love Nutella then try out the hazelnut flavor. I definitely will be coming back to Shake Tea to try out other flavors.

I love everything that i have tried here. Everyone that works here is super friendly as well. My faves are the mango green tea, taro, milk tea, ceylon peach tea and their cheese corn puff snacks!

so I happened upon this milk tea shop while wandering around Oakridge Mall. I was thirsty n didn’t feel like getting a latte from Starbucks in the food court. they have a Unilocal buy one get one free discount so I might as well try it. well, now I know not to buy any from there anymore. the service was good. I got my teas fast. I ordered a regular milk tea with red bean n got a regular milk tea without pearls for free. both tasted very bland. just very watery. there was definitely more tea than milk.(I like a 50⁄50 ratio or something close to that.) plus the amount of red beans wasn’t that much. usually at other tea shops, the amount of toppings they give is a little more than 1⁄3 a cup. so definitely not going back for more of their milk teas. the only saving grace for this tea shop r the interesting Asian snacks u can find here.(c pics.) I didn’t even know they have Sriracha flavored kettle chips! that was mind-blowing. I bought some red bean mochi. they weren’t freshly made but still good. I will probably go back to buy the Cheesecake Kit Kats next time.

No complaints here! Had about 3 drinks different drinks here and each one was good. The bogo Unilocal check-in offer is pretty awesome too. Workers were nice. Will definitely support this business.

Shake tea is almost like a Tpumps, mixing multiple flavors and customizing your drink and what not. Which is fun, don’t get me wrong, but the drinks taste, literally like water. I had a rose strawberry milk tea and it straight up tasted like rose water. There was no essence of milk or creaminess, or a tea taste. I wish I could give more stars but it really wasn’t my cup of tea. I hope they fix that soon. But then again who knows! I’ve only been here once, maybe I should’ve gone with the regular milk teas. I’ll give Shaketea a try again next time. Great customer service though! I appreciate that.

We were walking around the Oakridge mall when we both decided to get some boba. Shake Tea was right in the mall so we decided to stop there. At first, we only wanted to share one boba drink, which was the classic milk tea with honey boba, but upon checking in, we received a promotional offer where we got another milk tea for free! We had to customize this one though, so we decided on a peppermint green milk tea with honey boba. The cashier was a really nice girl who allowed us to use our promotion even AFTER we had paid and ordered already, so that was really nice. As for the drinks, we really liked it. The milk tea had a slight roasted flavor to it and the boba had the chewy, sweet texture we were expecting. I was pleasantly surprised by the peppermint and how much I enjoyed it. You taste more of the tea though with just a hint of mint. While Shake Tea is great, we can’t say it was one of the best we’ve had. Another con, was that they didn’t have egg pudding as one of their toppings so my hubby was a little bummed about that one. Considering how I like shopping so much, we will most likely come back here again.

surprisingly good & tastes like tpumps !! haha there’s also a Unilocal check-in BOGO deal rn !!(of equal or lesser value) I got the customized milk(black) tea, mixed 3 flavors of rose, honey, and peach w/honey boba — it was pretty damn good ! My friend got the sea crema black tea and really like it too. Each drink was about $ 4.30 including boba. I like the similar Tpumps concept of mixing flavors(you get to choose up to 3), and the drink wasn’t overly sweet, watered down, or anything. also big kudos & thumbs up for the greenware drink cups, yay for being eco friendly(: there’s a big(asian) snack section to the side, pretty cool. also right next to Potato Corner & Anderson Bakery to grab food! overall, good addition to Oakridge mall ~

This is a shop located in front of the Anderson bakery. For your drinks you can either create your own or choose from their premade selection that they have. This place didn’t meet up to my expectations compared to other boba places I’ve tried. I ended up making my own drink that consisted of black tea, no milk, and choose mango, litchi, and strawberry as my three flavors. It was super bitter and way watered down. It was fun to try but I would rather get Starbucks at the food court.

Tea, Bob, milk drinks fresh fruit shakes… and yes I saw unusual Kit Kats offered as well! This place is efficient, reasonable on price and the New 2015 version of the 1975 Orange Julius once in the mall! It will survive here and do well. There’s piles of combination drinks both Asian and Euro Ameri-Asian.everybody loves this kind of place, assortment and speed if your movieing you can jam in and out of! I highly recommend!

This place is a cute little shop next to the potato corner and in front of Anderson’s bakery. There’s a section for purchasing bona as well as a section to purchase Japanese snacks(almost like a mini daiso snack section). For drinks, you could create your drink with the options of black tea or green tea, milk or none, flavors(up to 3), as well as a topping for $ 3.35. I got the flavors peach, lychee, and passion fruit in green tea with grass jelly which was surprisingly good! My only complain is that the grass jelly needs to be cut up into smaller pieces… it was really hard to get it into the straw to drink with the tea. When I tried getting the jelly, my straw was also making super loud noises on the cap upon lifting it and stabbing it onto the jelly :(not good. Super friendly service with good pricing in my opinion. Would come again if I’m at oakridge!

Welcome, Shake Tea to the SJ boba games. With so many milk tea places in San Jose to choose from, this place for me fell slightly under or about the same to tapioca express, which is what I usually compare boba places to just because it’s the most popular, average standard place people usually are familiar with. However, definitely the best within Oakridge Mall! Located near potato corner and Sears, this place not only serves milk tea, smoothies, some coffee drinks, and creama drinks, they also have an arrangement of Asian chips and snacks, from the well known Hello Panda’s to Asian snacks that are so Asian that their names are in symbols I can’t read. Props to bringing these snacks to the mall! The service was friendly and rather quick. I ordered the mango matcha creama with honey boba and mango pudding. I think it’s cool that with whatever drink you choose, you get to choose up to 3 toppings that come with it, other places normally charge you extra for more toppings. The creama here isn’t salty like gong cha, but it’s more comparable to like whipped cream. The drink was pretty interesting because it tasted like matcha while sipping it then would have an after taste of mango. The honey boba was really soft, but didn’t have much honey flavor to it.

This place is new to Oakridge mall and surprisingly pretty good! Located by Sears and across from Anderson Bakery, this venue is on the corner. There are a few tables and chairs in the middle of the aisle for customers to side and enjoy their drinks at but definitely not enough. I’ve been here twice. The first time I ordered a Blueberry Strawberry Smoothie with Honey Boba. I really really liked it ! The boba were very soft and chewy, and the drink had a nice consistency that wasn’t too sweet. But this time, I decided to try a «Create Your Own Tea», and I ordered a Passion Fruit Green Tea with Honey Boba(my go-to at any new tea place). I also ordered another Passion Fruit Green Tea with Lychee Jelly for my momma(her go-to). This time the drinks took a while before they were ready, but that didn’t bother me too much. My mom’s drink was made with Honey Boba instead of Lychee Jelly, and the girl who made it apologized sympathetically for her mistake. After coming home and testing both mine and my mother’s drinks, hers was much sweeter than mine. I was pretty upset about that because I shally prefer my drink sweeter, and she prefers it less sweet. My mom’s comment when I asked her to make one is «these Lychee Jellies don’t fit up my straw» Overall, minus one star for lack of consistency in the sweetness of their drinks. I definitely think this place beats the Tpumps crave by price, speed, and taste!

I’m a real big fan on the crema type drinks so I decided to try it out. Disappointed that there’s only 3 options — pineapple black tea, lychee green tea & mango matcha. I decided on the lychee green tea w/boba & egg pudding. Was very surprised on how good it was. Not too sweet & very refreshing. Egg pudding tasted kind of odd, I’m not sure how to describe it, kind of like from a can I suppose but the boba was very good. The crema is a little too sweet for me, I like more of the salty types of cremas. But nonetheless the tea was good

The prices are super affordable and the drinks we ordered were extremely tasty. My favorite is definitely the Rose, Strawberry and Peach black tea. One of my favorite things about the place is that you can get as many toppings as you want and being someone who loves boba, I take full advantage of this. The service is always great — each of the workers I’ve met thus far have been friendly and enthusiastic, but I’ll go ahead and make a point to say that one of the girls really stood out. Jenna not only made sure my drinks were made correctly, she gave me some great feedback for new drink combinations — and she did it all with a genuinely good attitude. I look forward to coming back here again soon!

Shake Tea also sells japanese pastries, candies(hichews), mochi, edibles, coffee(hot/cold), bubble tea, teas, etc. drink: taro milk tea(3.35) –slight taro flavoring, not overwhelming artificial –just average drink, taro drinks usually a lot worse. drips: –milk teas can have 3 flavorings(passed, imagined flavor conflicts) –friendly, quick service –drinks made behind plastic partition.
