So sad they are closing tomorrow. I had a limited edition flavor — peanut butter with origins Mochi and brownie bites. Delicious especially since it’s over 90 degrees outside. We will miss you snozen! Hope you find a new location in the near future.

I’m so devastated that this place is closing down. Never have I ever had the pleasure of trying a tea-flavored shaved snow with black sesame drizzle until SnoZen. The staff was always friendly and patient as I picked my toppings. It’s hard to find a good shaved snow place with the same fluffy consistency as SnoZen’s. You will be missed.(Also, its last day is 6⁄25 so get it while you still can!!)

I’m so happy I got to try this place out before it closes tomorrow! The girl at the register said the lease ran up and there was already another buyer sadly. They won’t be opening another location for now. Who knows what could happen? I got a small green tea snow with condensed milk and black sesame syrup drizzle. It was amazing. I would have asked for extra condensed milk but it was really really amazing. Boyfriend and I decimated it within a minute or two. The perfect summer treat! And their Thai tea was very nice too. Hopefully they will be opening another location soon!

Love the sno !! :3 Can’t wait to go back again. It was first time there and it was hard for me to find it. I call and they said what was next to them but still couldn’t find it. My friend and I were an idiot didn’t look around too well LOL! The service was nice but I felt bad because I kind of went when they were about to close in 20 minutes. But they still served us and they were awesome! It’s a must go back place again.

Rating — 5 Stars By far my favorite place to get dessert! I always try to come here whenever I’m in the area after eating a meal. The shaved show is just perfect and probably the best you’ll ever have. It’s super light, fluffy, and just melts in your mouth exactly like how snow would. And because it’s so light, you’ll always have room for it, it won’t weigh you down with sweetness, and you won’t feel guilty for eating dessert! Best part is that there isn’t a gritty/ice crystal texture that seems to plague almost every other shaved snow I’ve had. I’ve had a lot of their flavors and each and every one of them have been downright delicious. They also have rotating seasonal flavors, some of which are pretty unique such as peanut butter, which wasn’t as weird or bad as you’d think it might be. The only minor complaint I have with one of their flavors is that for«Jasmine Milk Tea», it’s way too subtle to taste. The first few bites you can tell, but after that it just all begins tasting like a milk flavor; which isn’t bad or anything, but if you want a green tea flavor you should opt for the«Matcha Green Tea» instead. I always recommend my friends to try this place and I highly recommend it to you guys as well.

Was very pleased with the Summer Sunset that I ordered. It includes mango shaved ice, condensed milk, fresh strawberries & mangos. I added extra original mochi. The mango shaved ice itself isn’t very sweet. So with condensed milk, it was just perfect. The fresh fruits were perfect as well. Strawberries were sweet & crunchy, mangos were sweet & soft! Mochi was good as it always is. Got a Medium and I finished it fast!(& I’m a small girl who usually gets a small size for everything). This place has just gained a regular!

Great place for family. Board games are available to play while you enjoy their yummy deserts. Finding parking is a little rough, but so worth it!

Have been looking for a place like this for months now! I live an hour away and the last time I had snow ice was in Hawaii 2015! This hit the spot! I had the Taro Atari so good! With mochi almonds and condensed milk on top. My boyfriend liked it so much he ordered a rocky road. Will definitely come back! Thank you.

This was delicious! I went here on Friday when they opened with my coworkers to celebrate a software release and the young man working the register was very nice and explained the process. As it was our first time we each got something different, from taro and green tea to mango and vanilla. All of the flavors were delicious and the toppings were very fresh. I enjoyed the experience and the dessert! They have dairy free options too, which is great as some people on my team are lactose intolerant. I definitely recommend going here!

Been coming here ever since snow lounge closed. I prefer going during the day because they actually give me a full cup of snow. During at night when the owner is there I only get ¾th the amount. Try going during the day and at night and you’ll see the difference. That’s the only reason why I haven’t been going here much anymore.

My mom had tried this a few months back with some of her friends, and she couldn’t stop raving about it, and finally, this past weekend with the weather heating up, I got my chance to try it. I’ve had shaved snow at a few places around the bay, but after trying even more places in LA and SD, I have to admit that the places in the Bay Area were not up to par in terms of flavor and texture, but SnoZen definitely has it all worked out. Currently they are offering some limited edition flavors including Thai Tea, Jasmine Milk Tea, Strawberry Lemonade, and a few other goodies. I haven’t had Thai Tea snow at too many places, so I decided to go for that flavor with mixed mochi as a topping and condensed milk drizzle. My mom opted for the Mango To Tango, which is one of their snow combos including mango snow, fresh mango, passion fruit jelly, and condensed milk on top. The place was packed since it seems other people got the same idea as us, but our snow still arrived fairly quickly. We got our snows for here, so they were served on a plate with metal forks. My Thai Tea snow had AMAZING flavor. I’ve had the thai tea snow at only like two other places, but SnoZen definitely beats them on the flavor. You can really taste the tea flavor, and it’s quite strong, so I devoured it instantly. I chose mochi as a topping because I really like the chewiness, but it turns out the mixed mochi was a great choice. It comes with an assortment of blueberry, strawberry, mango, and regular mochi I believe, adding more variety/flavor to the whole setup. My mom Mango To Mango was also really yummy. The mangoes bits were definitely fresh and sweet, and the mango snow had a very refreshing taste. My mom and I each ordered the small size, and we were pretty satiated after finishing our desserts. They also offer medium and large size, if you want to indulge more. The total for both of ours came to a little over $ 10, so it’s a nice and unique treat that won’t quite break the bank. I would definitely recommend this place for your shaved snow fix, and I’ll hopefully be back soon because I definitely want to try that Jasmine Milk Tea flavor before it’s gone!

This was the first time that I had ever had something like this. It can not be compared to shaved ice at all. This is light and fluffy just like fresh snow. I tried the chocolate but was kind of an odd taste. I got the strawberry with raspberry sauce. I could tell that it was made with real strawberries because the flavor and it also had strawberry seeds. The employees were also friendly!

LOVETHISPLACE. I’m pretty picky about shaved snow. Good places have to follow my top two things that make great shaved snow: consistent texture, and a diverse variety of flavors that aren’t overly sweet. I’m all about consistent texture when it come to shaved snow. I’ve been here three times and all three times the shaved snow has fantastic. Other shaved snow places I’ve been to in the Bay Area are either tooo icy, too creamy or almost melty by the time it gets to me so I’m really glad that SnoZen has good QC on making their shaved snow. FLAVORS, soo many. My personal favorites are Thai Tea and Taro. Not too sweet and if you want it to be sweeter, just add condensed milk! Be sure to try the black sesame condensed milk, it’s heaven. If you find it overpowering, or too sweet, you can ask for it on the side so you can drizzle it on yourself. I also really like that they experiment with flavors. They’re coming out with new ones like Pandan and the cashier was nice enough to give me a sample before they release it. It’s really good folks! I’m kind of a purist and I rather enjoy my shaved snow with all the intricacies of toppings but I’ve tried a few of the toppings and really liked the lychee jelly, mochi and of course the black sesame condensed milk. YES, again, please try that it’s amazing. I rarely rave about dessert places but SnoZen really hits it out of the ballpark. Great service to boot, which is also an extra plus!

Let me just start by saying that this place was SO hard to find. It’s where it exactly where the map says it is, but the signage is so small and the plaza is so packed that the place is so easy to miss. Not holding this against them or anything, just wanted to make it known so hopefully no one else ends up circling the parking lot four times in search for some shaved snow LOL. My friend and I came in with a sugar craving, and we decided to share a medium size of the Atari(taro snow with mochi, sliced almonds, and condensed milk). For me, I didn’t have any particularly strong feelings, good or bad, after eating. I’ll just say that for nearly $ 7 and such high ratings, I was expecting to be wow-ed. It wasn’t bad by any means, but I just wasn’t super impressed. They do have quite a large flavor selection though, so maybe I’ll be back to try something else next time!

Such a great experience! I love this place so much and their snow is so yummy :) Service: 5⁄5 Food: 5⁄5 Interior: 5⁄5 I came here yesterday with my friends, and it was my third time visiting. There was no line, and our shaved snow came out super fast after we ordered! They have a great variety of flavors, toppings, and sauces. Check out their limited time menu! The employee working was super nice and patient with us! He even joined our conversation for some time while we were eating. :) The inside of the store has nice lighting from outside, and all the tables, walls, and chairs are white(IG aesthetic, yo). Lastly, the snow was amazing as always. If it’s your first time here, I’d recommend the vanilla or mango! With condensed milk! They are both super good. Last time, I tried the strawberry and it was really good, but I think I prefer the vanilla and mango flavors. Looking forward to trying the original sweet milk and matcha flavors from the limited edition menu next time. Overall, snozen definitely lives up to their rating; great prices, yummy snow, friendly employees, clean interior. No complaints!

Probably the best shaved ice in this area. It’s pretty legit. My favorite is mango with mango and mango mochi. Add the sesame condense milk and I’m a happy brontosaurus lol.

I love shaved snow — so light and fluffy. I’ve been waiting for the new location to open. And went there as soon as it did. I practically hate the complex in which this ice-cream shop is located — there are SO many little cafes and restaurants and parking is a nightmare. Well anyway, we ordered a Mango To Tango ice-cream. It comes with a side of mangoes and jelly, and a drizzle of condensed milk. It was soooo good. if you love mangoes, you’ll definitely fall in love with this one. Will definitely certain and next time I’m here, coco banana will be my pick to try.

One word to describe SnoZen’s snow ice: AMAZING! SnoZen is located in a plaza off Capitol Expressway. It’s definitely a lot smaller than their original location, but still great customer service by the staff. Very clean & modern décor. A few tables inside & there’s outdoor seating on nice days. All the ingredients used to make the snow ice are fresh & real fruits. All the snow ice are made fresh daily in the morning before opening. My favorite combos are: –strawberry snow ice with condensed milk drizzle, strawberries & lychee heart jelly –peanut butter snow ice & sliced bananas –black sesame snow ice with condensed milk drizzle Definitely a refreshing dessert done well! You gotta try it for yourself! Also, get the Five Star card to rack up points for free snow ice ;)

I love this placeee I tried this place on grand opening day and i fall in love with it. The snow here is really light and easy to eat. I usually get piña colada and jasmine, they’re my favorite. They also have shave ice and coffee. However, i strongly recommend snow. It sure beats every other snow place. The store is right next to phở tau bay. It’s a cute little store. They have plenty of tables for you. You can also move the table outside if you like. Restroom is pretty clean; however, they could have an air vent to make the air cooler. I recommend this place for dessert if you want something different and refreshing.

Shaved snow, best thing that has happened to the bay area. SnoZen serves the best one yet so far. Creamy, soft, light, and most of all flavorful! I’ve had almost every flavor and all are so good. They have a variety from fruity all the way to chocolate. The only flavor that I dislike there is their green tea. Very plain and tasteless.

We all came here after my birthday from Tai Chi Hot Pot. I know this place was kind of new, but finally got the chance to try it. I believe this location was also own by Snowflake in Fremont. The green tea shaved ice was really good especially with the beans. I really liked the texture and softness of the taste. The mango tea with boba was very delicious and not too sweet. The customer service was awesome and they took our orders very quick! The interior is pretty decent and clean. Of course they have games to can play with while hanging out. This place is truly a great hang out spot after a huge meal.

Most refreshing flavorful snow in this area! They have pre made combinations or you can make your own, so whatever kind of taste you’re craving, it will be fulfilled. The snow is so finely shaved it melts in your mouth and every flavor is bursting with goodness. Personally my favorite would be summer sunset(mango snow)! The only downside would be sometimes the fruits get kind of soggy or sometimes the mango is not sweet. But other than that, they are consistently good with their service and their snow. Parking will suck! Snozen is towards the back of the plaza near PhoTau Bay. It is a very crowded Asian plaza that has many popular shops, boba tea houses, and restaurants, so just be very cautious of all the passive aggressive drivers fighting for parking. Especially during prime time, aka the weekends, it can be hard.

«Do you wanna Eat a SHAVEDSNOW? Come on let’s go and eat!!! I never eat with you anymore :( Come out the door. It’s like you’ve gone away! We used to be Best Foodies And now we’re not, I wish you would tell me why!- Do you wanna eat a Shaved Snow? It does have to be Sno-Zen Shaved Snow… Okay byeee!» Parody of «Do You Wanna Build a Snowman?» Frozen **100th Review for Sno-Zen wahoo!** My friend convinced me to come here because she had a BOGO. Needless to say, I caved and got their Matcha Snow special with red beans, mochi, and black sesame drizzle my nizzle fo shizzle!!! TIPS: +Get the large, seriously. Why bother with the small? You’re gonna eat it in 2 seconds anyway. +Matcha Snow was TODIEFOR, but no I am not dead yet, thanks for your concern! :) +Sign up/use your 5STARS Reward! My friend got a BOGO deal through 5 Stars cause Sno-Zen texted her. Sweet! +Don’t ever try to eat this after the first tasting. I put my leftovers in the freezer and tried it the next day– nastyyyy!!! The red beans were all hard, the mochi was mush hard, and the integrity and texture of the snow was compromised. I couldn’t throw it away fast enough :(sigh. Clean, somewhat spacious, chill ambiance. Located in the same plaza as Thien Long, TapEx, Sweet Basil. It’s the last shop along the row where Thien Long and BoBo Drinks are. They give you a FORK because the spoon digs into the snow and rips the texture. Don’t you want to eat snow? Then do it right with a fork!
