I’ve had the pleasure of working with South Bay Express and Marcus Salomon, personally. They already had glowing references from friends and family and I would like to pass on that legacy. SBX played at a friend’s wedding and I was amazed at the amount of effort they put into preparations for the event. Marcus held the bride’s hand as she couldn’t pick out the song to which she wanted to walk down aisle until the night before the ceremony! SBX also wasn’t familiar with a song the bride wanted for the first dance. They took it upon themselves to obtain and study the music and the song so that it was absolutely perfect when it sounded. Marcus also made a great suggestion of timing the dance so that the bride and groom don’t get tired waltzing to a 10 minute song. Hmmmm, I realize this is starting to sound negative — not at all! i love my friend, but she was just making some strange choices in those days :) They truly made this occassion a memorable one. Marcus helped the newlyweds make lists of songs they wanted, and, more importantly, songs they did NOT want played. I have to say — I’d like to work with them again :) Ok — who wants to get married? :)))))))
