This is my go-to Starbucks in San Jose. It’s clean, lots of seating, and everything else you’d expect from a Starbucks. Street parking is plentiful in the front, and there are spaces for the shopping center in the back as well. Usually, there are not many milk options on the condiments counter — but if you ask the staff, they’ll get you what you’re looking for. I’ve found that after noon, there’s just half and half left out whereas non-fat and 2% must be requested.

I never really cared for their coffee’s. It tastes like they over roast their beans in my opinion. Another thing is you changed your cups, this is the Christmas season coming up and the last time I checked this was still the United States. I can understand you making changes at locations in other countries however doing it here was unwarranted.

Friendly enough staff, but was disappointed that they did not have any skinny mocha sauce available. Small Starbucks, but it’s just okay. Atmosphere seems to be a stop-and-go kind, so I would probably rather go to another coffee shop on the Alameda for that. Nothing in particular that really amazed me or set me off about the experience though.

I don’t have anything good or bad to say about this place, It is a quick in & out stop. The barista’s are nice and friendly. This location does run out of supplies quite often, we went in around 7PM on Wednesday hoping to find a quick dinner snack but the cooler was empty. Only good thing is it is right outside my house and this makes my girlfriend happy.

Can this Starbucks improve this location? It’s an okay one in terms of drinks, but service and cleanliness of this location is pretty poor. The floors usually seems pretty dirty here, and the furniture is older here. The one part that bothered me is the mobile ordering console seems neglected and not in anyone’s line of sight. So much so that my order hadn’t even been noticed until I arrived. Plus side, there is a decent amount of parking in the back, but that’s about it.

Good Starbucks. Friendly and nice employees and its in a great area. Lots of indoor and some outdoor seating. Would recommend to anyone that wants to do some work or sit with friends. Also, it’s right on The Alameada so it’s a great place to congregate. Food is good quality as well.

Since having a negative experience here once I still come in 3−4x a week. It has become my favorite. Whether it is 6am or 500pm they’re cheerful and friendly! They’re also super attentive to make sure your drink is right and often check in to double check I like it.

Had to drive to San Jose for a meeting and we stopped in and got a coffee and read. The Baristas were great and the environment was great. They have both an indoor and outdoor venue to sit and relax. My only complaint was they had only one restroom available which was the women’s bathroom. «NOTGOOD!» Once you were able to get into the restroom it was less than clean. The parking can also be challenging due to the fact you are limited on street parking with the Alameda being such a busy street. Overall a pretty good expeience and my only recommendation is that you bring a flamethrower to sanitize the bathroom before you use it.

I rate this place 0 star. I’m from L.A. visiting San Jose area for a few days and came across this Starbucks, en route back to SJSU. I was desperate for a latte so I made a stop here then later realized there’s a PEET’S coffee across the street! Darn I thought I have already placed my order… speaking of which, in addition to a soy latte I added a water and a «Croissant» yes I quoted the word«Croissant». The guy who helped me was respectful and nice but for some odd reason I can hear this LOUD and OBNOXIOUS heavy set brunette behind the counter whilst warming up my croissant… she was mocking me and kept saying the word croissant as if she was pretending to have a french accent then turned around to look at me! I gave her the stink eye, this woman is CRAZY. Also the staff here does not wear name tags nor was I given a receipt, at any rate I have placed a complaintto the corporate office. And this is a big no no the ladies room did NOT have TP luckily I had Kleenex in my bag. I will make sure to let others know my experience here in an effort to have this place SHUTDOWN, my nephew works for Starbucks and I have been in contact with the corporate office.

Been here twice recently as it’s conveniently located next to Subway. I’m giving it two stars, only because I have no complaints about my drinks and because 1 associate was nice. Otherwise, I’m not very impressed other their customer service. Both times the cashier hasn’t offered a receipt and has been very blah. The first time the barista wasn’t calling out drinks so everyone was guessing and checking to see if the drinks were theirs. When my coworker asked for a drink tray, the barista didn’t even look up. When my friend asked again she said, «I’m getting it.» A response would have been nice the first time. Definitely not my favorite Starbucks in the area. The 1700 park avenue one is much better.

This is a decent Starbucks. The workers are a little slow at making the drinks but the atmosphere is nice. There’s nothing I particularly didn’t like about the experience but not much I liked either. I’ve gotten cappuccinos and caramel macciatos here. I thought they were good quality. Its still Starbucks quality though so not special.

Finally found my go-to Starbucks! It’s near where I live and this Starbucks had a comfortable ambience when you walk in. It’s usually not crowded so there was numerous options where you could sit. The Wi-Fi was fast enough and it was well-kept and maintained. Not to mention the friendly employees! I first decided to sit outside because the weather was nice and there was way less people. After about 30 minutes, there was someone asking for money and it made me uncomfortable because he was just walking around after I said I didn’t have any. Across the street you could hear a dog barking and whining quite loudly while there were a couple of guys with the dog which was suspicious I went inside and just sat there where I thought it was safer.

I’ve been here countless times. A walk from China Inn after lunch seem to be my ritual. Well mostly. I like this location. I like each Starbucks for the different vibes that each place offers. This one is one of those relaxed vibe. Never too full with people. Therefore if you’re in a pinch and need to charge your electronics– this place always has space. Parking in the back. Friendly baristas. Outside seating area. The communal table is awesome. If you’re alone and it’s not busy– you can spread out here.

Great service, delicious drinks, super convenient location. The Baristas are super nice and they are always making sure your drink/food order is perfect. Get here early in the morning, or the line of caffeine starved patrons will be out the door! Parking is not great at peak hours.

This Starbucks is busy on weekends. You have parking behind the building and service is quicker than the Starbucks on 1st street :)

I was in a good mood when I walked into this Starbucks location a while back. That changed very quickly from the customer service I got from behind the counter. I ordered a «Large coffee» and the counter help took my money. The question came«what kind of coffee would you like?» I looked up to see what was available: 3 Christmas/Holiday flavored coffees were in the line up. I laughingly(thank you Dennis Leary… though Bill Hicks probably said it first) queried«do you have any coffee flavored coffee?» The guy right behind me broke out laughing along with a couple other snickers from others in my vicinity. The manager and another counter worker snapped nastily at me that those were my choices. I replied«well, no need to get angry at me, I am after all, the customer, and I can very well take my business elsewhere… » the store went silent and the angry staff people tucked tail and moved off. The whole place was a stand still. When faced with an opportunity to make my day better, the staff of that Starbucks chose to do the exact opposite. They forced me to accept something I was less than satisfied with. I should have cancelled my order and had my money returned. A friend of mine was in the store at the time. He was in later on and talked with the counter people. Evidently I was the fourth person that had said something(and the others were a bit more hostile about the lack of normal coffee). Seems someone failed to place an order. The manager even commented that«if he wanted a regular coffee, he should go to 7−11». This is direct from Starbucks website: «OURMISSION To inspire and nurture the human spirit — one person, one cup and one neighborhood at a time. OURVALUES With our partners, our coffee and our customers at our core, we live these values: Creating a culture of warmth and belonging, where everyone is welcome. Acting with courage, challenging the status quo and finding new ways to grow our company and each other. Being present, connecting with transparency, dignity and respect. Delivering our very best in all we do, holding ourselves accountable for results. We are performance driven, through the lens of humanity.» I am going to go with this: You missed the mark on everything except for being present. Although, you did inspire me, I doubt disappointment and anger were the inspirations that the mission statement were aiming for.

This is my favorite starbucks place ever. baristas are very friendly, I remembered years ago I made my bay to breakers costume here while sipping the freshly drip pikes coffee! I’m not really a fan of the baked goods.

I think Michael is new but he is by far the friendliest and has the best customer service. He made my drink very good and was super polite. This location has a tendency of having a staff that has big attitudes. For example, Christina. She is not professional and doesn’t pay attention when Taking drink orders. Super glad that Michael is there and hopefully he can boost the morale.

I dropped in during my lunch to pick up a quick Frappé before heading back. This space is very strangely laid out. It’s much like walking in the side door, only to realize it’s the front door. The service was friendly, but slower than the location on Park. I don’t know that I’d come back if I wasn’t in the area. The park location is quicker, much more friendly and just feels a bit more open and welcoming. But this Starbucks does the trick when you need to grab and go I suppose.

This review is only for the service I received from a barista during my visit there today, not for the quality of the products. When I walked up to the register I first put in my order and then reloaded my Starbucks card. The employee that helped me was short in stature with short hair, she was genuine and cheery! Since this took a little bit of time, the barista making the drinks went ahead took the woman’s order behind me. He, really tall guy with reddish/blondish hair, chatted with this woman and she was delivered her drink first(that’s weird since I ordered mine first, and my cup should have been in front of hers) When my order was ready, I went and picked it up at the bar, said thank you cheerfully and tried to make eye contact with said barista, and he said nothing while he turned his back on me. I found that very rude. Not only did he not prioritize my drink, he wasn’t even genuine about his service. He blatantly ignored me and turning his back was the icing on the cake. I love Starbucks, and prefer it over other coffee shop chains, but this specific one is definitely a no on my list. Sorry tall guy, but I’d work on my customer service if I were you.
