This place is cool, its open till two, the hard Mikes lemonades are the cheapest I’ve seen them. they’re right next door so you can’t beat that! the juice is hella high tho

Stop N Save has posted pricing on most generic and domestic beers. no pricing on microbrews.
wines maybe pricey. did not check.

Convenience location and cheap beer and wine.

Location has false advertising signs posted and refuse to honor the prices or remove the signs. Example: they have a sign for Kraft 10oz jet puffed marshmallow for $ 1.49 reg $ 2.19. It does not specify miniature or jumbo. Upon buying miniature which meets the above 10oz Kraft Jet Puffed marshmallow sign they refuse to sell it for $ 1.49. I attempted to remove the sign as it’s false advertising and they rehung it. I explained if California weights & measures does an audit they will be fined. They did not care.

Rude as fuck here I wouldent come here ever again. The service was so bad there is some guy name shelly. So fucking rude fuck them I recomend going anywhere but there

f**k this place. i come here and there to buy liquor from this store when i have no other choices. came in one time to buy a Nuvo. so pretty much i already knew what i’m gonna get. a quick glance if they have it then came out to go get my money clip from my car and i end up getting stopped by the worker there to be checked since he thought i stole something. f**k you dude if i was in a bad mood that day you would’ve been knocked the F**k out. i left and never bought the bottle, drove down the street to Econo Liquors and got it there for even cheaper and less hassle.

not the best at first sight but I have been going to Stop N Save for around 5 years now, Ive made aquaintances with the people that work their, it is a bit pricey compared to the chinese store across the street a lil away, but the overall atmosphere nad convenience of it being close to the bus stop and the corner of the street make it a classic setting

I have been a customer at this location for almost 20 years and am still a regular customer. I have grown up knowing the owner and cashiers at this location. They are very friendly and sometimes like to joke around. Prices are decent. Its a liquor store! Of course they are gonna have their prices on their goods to make the profit! I dont buy liquor at all so I cant really say much of what they have and how much they are. I do come here for cigarettes and I do notice that the price of cigarettes is much lower than other liquor stores. I buy Newports which run $ 6.50+ at other locations. Over here its $ 6.00 and since its cheaper at this location, I do notice that the Newports I buy stay fresher for a longer period of time. I guess its because they constantly open new cartons to stock and definitely dont have boxes of cigarettes sitting for a long time which makes them stale.
Based on Jackies review I feel safe everytime I come here. Yes, there are times when SJPD is there, bit its not because of any violence or robbery. SJPD is there to control the homeless individuals that stay around the area. The homeless individuals mostly hang around the bus stop next to the store. They are harmless! I always see them there and occasionally give them some spare change. They just dont have any place to go to, thats why they are there by the store. They are usually gone by nighttime.
Even though I am a regular over here, there is just one problem… the parking!!! I dojbt there will ever be any improvement with parking. Since Tapioca Express opened, its hard to find good parking in the afternoon, but for me, its ok… it doesnt stop me from fetting my goods and saying hello to some good «homeboys» hehehe =)

this place some times sells cheaper alcohol than others. for example, luckys sell their henny for $ 48 but over here it would be $ 39. All liquor stores have their alcohol overpriced. I recommend you check the ads for riteaid and CVS first. Even Bevmo has it cheaper for a lot of things. The goose here sells for $ 33 – 36, but if you go to CVS, sometimes they have their goose for less that $ 24. The only good thing is that this place is open till 2 am.
I have passed this place for the past 5 years, and a few times I would see cops parked outside. why? because they got robbed! or there was a fight in the parking lot. so its not that safe of a place. Across the street would be a bum asking for money, another indicator that its not a great location if safety is of concern.
