this place is privately owned by a pretty cool young guy. only $ 25 a month for unlimited tanning in lay down beds and $ 32 for standing. cheap deals on lotions too and free tanning tattoos. love it.

I have not tanned in many years. I had a bad case of the rainy winter blues so I decided get some«sun». I love the feel of tanning on a cold gloomy day; just seems to cheer you right up. Anyways, I was looking for something affordable without the cheap feeling. I asked around and discovered Sun City Tanning. I was able to get a great deal as a new customer. The guy working there, Nick, said they always have good price points and have different promotions year round. What I liked is it is in a convenient location(just off 101 and 85) and there is lots of parking since it is in a shopping center. They also have a couple of options to choose from which are stand up tanning, spray tan, and the traditional tanning beds with different intensities. The employees there are friendly and the place is clean and nicely decorated. Overall I was glad to find a good place to start tanning again.

You cannot beat the prices of this salon. I’m not even kidding. I think the closest I have seen for 1 month unlimited tanning is around 40 – 50 bucks, and that’s ONLY if you’re a student or new customer. Mix and Match beds for 32 dollars unlimited for a month? That’s seriously insane and also AWESOME. Alas, you sacrifice a few things when you’re on a budget. Many times I’ve been, the beds were not cleaned so I’ve had to ask for another one. I don’t know about you, but part of me is grossed out when I see a dirty bed and towels. At least there are other clean beds that are available. I really wish there were trash cans in the rooms. I’ve had to resort to putting my trash(a tissue, a tantoo, etc) in my purse to throw away later. The equipment isn’t the latest, but they get the job done. If you’re looking for über cool futuristic beds, this is not the place for you. A few times I went in and there I am, laying in a bed, and it wouldn’t turn on. At all. So I would get redressed(which sucks after lotioning), go out and ask for another bed. That was probably the main thing that irked me. And sometimes, the cd players wouldn’t even work. Also, it doesn’t seem that the bulbs are very new but they don’t look old either. Just an observation. I wish there was music playing or some other form of white noise because, man, is it QUIET in that place! I felt like my applying lotion was loud, so it would have been nice to have some music in the place. Well, at least I brought my ipod :) Overall, I liked Sun City Tanning. The owners were friendly enough, the beds definitely get the job done and you CANNOT beat the prices! And a HUGEPLUS for not having the typical ‘stuck up’ attitude most salons have. But please fix those faulty beds and add some trash cans!
