Tina Shinmori, O.D.

Super nice optometrist! This was my first optometrist visit ever, so I was kind of nervous, but she (and everyone else who works there) made the visit very easy and relaxed. I learned a lot too! I will definitely be going back.

AWESOME eye doctor! I left my other eye doctor because well I’m a busy cookie and I need flexibility. I had to reschedule more than once and they said I had to pay for missing in less with less than 24 hrs notice. I work in the finance industry so that just does NOT work for… so I went hunting for new place of eye care! And i FOUND IT. Dr. Shinomri is so sweet and kind. She was really patient (I’m a blinker) and I ask a lot of ridiculous questions but she never flinched. She was really chill, and their office was located Japan town which I love. Plus I scheduled an appointment and had to change the date… then I forgot I started school and had to change AGAIN! Both times their office was totally accomodating!
They eye exam was great, they were kind enough to call and explain my insurance benefits (which I didn’t do before hand), and they even have a decent selection of glasses from vogue to DKNY & kate spade.
I’ll give an update to see how patient the contact lens fitting trainer is. It’s my first time and I have an eye ball phobia so we’ll see. For now 4 stars pending 5
