Angelica has no customer service skills. I ordered a #9 pastrami sandwich regular and she said do you want everything on your meatball sandwich. I told her I ordered a #9 she proceeded to tell me I was wrong and said meatball sandwich. I am mixed ethnicity and English is my first language, which hers is clearly Spanish. I understood she heard me wrong but she should be taught to accept her own mistakes not blame the customer because she forgot an entire order. The pastrami meat was not good. My bread was soaked with the fat and the meat tasted over cooked and microwaved. It was about a 10 minute wait. There were many people waiting in line and 2 working while another employee only takes money. Not efficient at all. Definitely not going to come here until they get a new staff that can make good sandwiches and do their job.

After my experience yesterday I won’t return to this location. I had a coupon for a BOGO pastrami sandwich which they would not honor. They said my name had to be on a list in order to redeem the coupon. I use coupons often and I always read the fine print — my coupon, nor my email ever stated I had to use the coupon at a certain location. The staff there kept telling me I had to go to the location where I signed up. I frequent a few other Togo’s locations by my job and use Togo’s coupons at each of those locations without any question. So be leery when thinking of using a coupon here. Unfortunately Togo’s on White/Aborn lost a customer…

I’ve been going to this togos for awhile but today I received the best sandwich I’ve ever had there. Made by a man named Bryan. I specifically asked for his name when I was leaving so I could write this review. No he was not extremely fast but he made me a masterpiece and I will only go back there for him to Make my sandwiches now.

I’ve been going to the Togos on White and Aborn in San Jose for years. Its closer by and they always make the best sandwiches, and that’s the only reason I go there. There customer service is the worst I’ve ever seen, no hello, no good by, no how you doing, no how’s your day. Maybe its because they seem to only speak Spanish. Last week as I walked in to place an order I was greeted with a welcome to Togos from a older gentlemen from behind the counter which I’ve never seen before, as another customer walked in he to got greeted the same way. I ended up placing my order with the greeter his name was Brian. As he was making my sandwiches he asked me how I was doing and how was my day going, did I have a nice weekend. We talked about basketball, the weather, he even made me laugh. It was a joyful experience, maybe this is something he could teach the others.

An okay-looking place with okay-tasting sandwiches; sometimes I feel like there isn’t enough meat to go along with the already very leafy meals(speaking about your typical deli meat + cheese + lettuce + dills). The bread is nothing to write home about. My major beef with this place, however, are the workers; although friendly, several workers’ accents will guarantee quite a few frustrating exchanges if you can’t hear them correctly, and will especially be problematic in rush hours when other customers are behind you. Additionally, this miscommunication has gotten my order wrong in a few instances.

Again, the employees at this location aren’t the friendliest or most welcoming. Unless you speak spanish, they seem like they barely want to even talk to you. Prices went up – ordered #9 pastrami again, and it was $ 7.50, $ 8 and change w/tax. Also, if you’re going to continuously offer the free soda with check-in that doesn’t expire, don’t ask me if I’ve been here before/used the coupon before.

I stood in line here for 15 – 20 minutes, even though by the time I came in, the only two people in line in front of me had already ordered. I eventually went to another sandwich place across the street.

I normally go to the Togos on Capital Expressway but since I was around the area, I decided to drop in and grab a few sandwiches. I ordered a regular #16 with chips and soda but when the lady rang me up she charged me for a large. When I told the sandwich maker, she replied back to me with a «Oops my bad, I thought you wanted a large». Not very professional at all. On top of that, they did not give me my drink so I had to chase the lady around to ask for it. When I got home the bread on my sandwich looked wet and smashed as if water was poured on it at one point and was left out to dry instead of being thrown away. The quality control here needs to tighten up or else someone can easily get sick.

This is WORSTTOGO’s. Went there on 7÷6÷2013 with my entire family. The sandwich makers don’t speak English! And they have ZERO customer experience! For all I know they could be the SAME people cleaning toilets and making sandwiches!!! Enough said on that language part! And didn’t make the order well! They gave one TWO pieces of pepper for a LARGE #7, turkey and cheese sandwich! The bread(I chose the San Francisco sour dough) is so bad!!! Stale and really, really bad quality! Seriously made from very cheap bleached flower. Terrible! NEVER, NEVER go to this place!

I usually go to the togo’s next to SJSU or the one on Snell, but I decided to stop by this one because it closer. 1. As soon as I stepped foot in there, it was so humid, so I’m wondering why continue to keep the front door closed? 2. I told the lady I wanted a chicken salad sandwich combo, but she decided to give me the sandwich only and when I corrected her for the combo, she says she I said only the sandwich, not the combo? 3. The chicken salad itself was really runny, warm and had too much mayo in it. By far, this was the smallest sandwich out of all the togo’s I’ve gone to. I guess they’re really shady about their portions. I wouldn’t come back, I rather drive a little further for a better sandwich.

I’ve been here a few times and of the 3 times, twice they got my order wrong. Either they don’t understand what I’m ordering or their not listening. I go and order a turkey on white bread and specifically asked for it being toasted. How hard is it to understand I want my sandwich toasted. Instead the lady gets the bread and turkey and continues to ask what condiments did i want and I told her lettuce and mayo(not knowing she was proceeding). By the time I realized it, I told her I said I wanted it toasted. She said you have to tell before I put everything on it, its too late. I said I did and my wife and kids were right next to me and agreed with me. But she refused to make another sandwich so not wanting to cause a scene I bit my tongue and accepted it. The next time I went, low and behold the same crap happened again and that was the last time I’m ever going to this TOGO’s.

Get the hot pastrami, well worth it. Lots of meat. They don’t have BLUECHEESE for their Cobb Salad =(

It’s an okay location. Workers always ignore me when I’m trying to place my order which is irritating plus they speak mainly Spanish and since I’m Mexican they expect me to speak it as well which I don’t. The location by my job is way better and I won’t go to togos unless it’s the Santa Clara location.

Ughh I just ate here now my stomach hurts! Musta been the French mushroom soup, cuz that’s the first time I’ve ever eaten soup at any togos! Ps is this a 50+ spot? I see nothing but senior citizens coming in lmao

The regular workers are always nice, friendly and polite. And the sandwiches are the bomb. Been eating #9 Hot Pastrami only since forever, but gotta be careful now that I’m old and trying not to get too fat. But the $ 5 special is irresistible. A sandwich, chips and a drink for $ 5 beats Subway anytime. My favorite sandwich joint.

Good location, fast service, lines aren’t too long. Staff is very friendly and always get my order right. The longest I had to wait in line was 3 minutes. There daily deals are always a plus!

Good service with good sandwiches. There always seems to be just enough people in line to let you find out what you need so by the time you get to the counter you are ready to order. The counter staff is friendly and very attentive to your needs. All in all I recommend this place to anybody looking for a well filled sandwich.
