Been gon’n here numerous times over the years, and continue to go, though the show has steadily gone down hill with respect to size and selection. I suspect this is not a fault of the show, but more the«supply and demand» aspect, thanks San Jose :(. You can find some good deals, if you are persistent, but it now reminds me more of the«old school» type«flea market». Considering you pay around $ 8.00 to park and $ 10.00 to get in(unless you have the coupon for a $ 1.00 off) it can be expensive and a disappointment.

I went to the last one in June and it was ok. Like the last reviews say there is a lot of knick-knack stuff and not too many deals. Most of the guns are old shotguns and overpriced ars and ammo. If your looking to buy a firearm your better off buying from a gun store or building one. They did have parts for building ars but you can do better online. I did get a couple 30 round rebuild ar mags for a decent price and an ammo can for $ 10. The fact that they had ar mags larger than 10 rounds was the only good thing.

Neat stuff but more like a flea market. Not really worth the 30 $ for 2 of us to get in and park. Unexpectedly small. I was hoping for wall to wall guns but they were mostly antiques and older guns.

Went to this show I. San Jose Sept 8. Complete waste of time. Maybe 75– 100 tables vs the 250 advertised. Approx 20 tables with guns. Very limited selection. More books and accessories. Won’t return.

10 Bucks to get in into a small venue that should of been in a larger building! I got there about 0930, stood in line for some reason it took forever to pay to get in. I don’t understand how hard it is to pay $ 10 bucks and to walk inside?!? Maybe the«person» had to count by beans, or toes?!? I found parking on the street so I wouldnt have to pay. There was too many Dudes packed inside the building! I’m glad I got there early because it was already get stuffy… Imagine High-Noon, Dude’s body order kick’in! There was plenty walks of life and who knows if some redneck, piasa, or lame that didn’t put enough Speed Stick on. Whoa!!! But like the other reviews stated, there was alot of goodies to looked at! I noticed several pistol magazines and how there were packed looked questionable… Even thou it may be in the manufactures original package, but most of the items looked like cheap knock-offs inside! There were plenty of hand knives at a reasonable price if you needed one. Ammo, hit and miss. There were a couple of tables that were selling reloads that were over priced! Internet deals are better in my opinion! Lots of AR goods! The prices were not to bad depending on what you need. At a few of the AR kiosks there were kids, like 18 – 20 running it. WTF?!? Yes 1 Star. Sorry I’m not impressed.

Let me first start that you will have to drop $ 20. Just to get in! $ 10TOPARK, $ 10TOGETIN! Some shows are better than others, mostly old rifles and shotguns. Not too many guns other than that. A ton of accessories though, almost overkill. Not too many good deals on ammo, which more would carrry 9 mm and .223.

For those of you who don’t know, the TS Gun Show is held at the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds in San Jose. They may do shows at other locations… I don’t know. So I’m not all that big on guns, but I went here with a friend who was looking to buy a rifle. I know enough about guns that I didn’t feel completely out of place here. So we get there on Sunday at 1:00ish and we’re greeted by criminals doing landscaping as part of the work release program(this means you probably shouldn’t leave any valuables in your car). We get inside the place and it’s virtually deserted. There were probably 50 people MAX. For being billed as a «gun show», there were very few booths selling guns. I think there were three or four booths with firearms for sale and there were the booths that sold gun accessories(bullets, magazines, books on guns, etc.) and there were booths that sold knives. Every other booth had a whole bunch of stuff that made me scratch my head. Like the tables that were selling old WWII books and the table that was selling Hercules comics. And there was this random chick who was selling Ron Paul campaign stuff. There was also this table selling a whole bunch of white trash t-shirts and bumper stickers… they prominently displayed the confederate flag and had slogans such as «The South was right» and«Fear Thiz» with the confederate flag behind the letters. There was also an elderly woman who was peddling knitted blankets. I’m not sure why she thought it would be a good idea to set up shop at a gun show, but needless to say, nobody seemed interested in her products. But my favorite booth of all was this dude tucked all the way in the corner. He looked just like Ned from South Park(the war veteran who speaks with a voice box). The guy was decked out in camo and he had 80s music blasting out of a boombox circa 1983. He was trying to sell a bunch of old Playboys… whether they were used or new, I don’t know, but they did have plastic covers on them, which could calm the semen-related fears a nudie magazine purchaser might have. He was scarfing down some nachos the whole time I watched him. I have no idea how he made enough money in sales to pay for those nachos, let alone the $ 75 it costs to rent a table at the show. I guess it’s always possible that on Saturday, he had the most kick ass stand imaginable and he sold out of his merchandise in 15 minutes… and he had already paid for Sunday, so he found some old pornos he could sell just so it wasn’t a complete waste of a day for him. It’s possible, but not bloody likely. Whatever the case, that guy alone was worth the price of admission and my only regret was that I didn’t have any cash to buy one of his masturbatory aids. As an actual gun show, this is probably as bottom of the barrel as you can get. I’d give one star, maybe one and a half. Minimal selection of actual guns and the gun accessories can be found cheaper on the internet. And some of the accessories(holsters, for example) were heavily used. But this gun show is so much more than just a gun show… it’s an afternoon full of people watching fun. Imagine the stars of having a garage sale. It’s the best $ 8 you’ll spend. I’m not sure when it’s coming back, but I’ll definitely be there.
