What a great little stand amongst the tech giants. We had fun picking up some of the tastiest fruit early in the season. The guys convinced my husband to buy the«best watermelon you will ever have», guess what, it lived up to their promise. The plums and apricots were the best tasting so far. I look forward to paying them a visit more often. Thanks cool dudes. Ahh strawberries were awesome as well.

This is a family owned fruit stand. I don’t know if they own the orchard behind the stand as well, an overgrown and neglected orchard in the heart of Silicon Valley. This place is fresh air in the uberdeveloped area and it’s worth a visit just to have an idea of what the Santa Clara valley once was. Besides this historical interest, they sell amazing and very affordable persimmons(1.20 $/pound today) and other fruits and vegetables. Some are grown by them, others i think they just resell to keep the variety all year long. I wish i knew it was there before.

Great farm stand in the heart of techie Silicon Valley! Usually starts to run low late afternoon. All the good stuff disappears early afternoon. But good quality and delicious! Cash only. and great prices. I love my little neighborhood fruit stand. #supportlocalproduce !!!

One of the last mom and pop farm stands left in this part of the valley. I’m not sure what they are growing behind the stand, but what they have is fresh and reasonably priced.

I moved to a complex very near from where this fruit stand/farm is located and I have to say is, so far, the only attractive thing in the area(except the Oaks River Park nearby too). In a conglomerate of newly built apartments, industrial parks, freeways and zero architectural design, zumba! you get that wonderful fruit stand like stagnant from the times where the Silicon Valley was supposed to be only and fully agricultural. Needles to say I was telling myself I had to stop one of these days… and that day came yesterday(free day at work, Christmas Eve and ‘excursion to the farm’ in order. This was my first time seeing persimmon trees, so beautiful the contrast of the orange color of the fruit against the gloomy and gray skies! And all those birds added a scary factor, like a horror movie scenario. The yellow stand pops up against those shades of gray and was greeted by what I guess is mother and son(I assume Japanese descent by the name). The man explained the months of operation and what other produce they grow here, although the persimmons seems to be the main attraction. Good prices, excellent quality. A must stop place, even if just because is such a photogenic place.

A little family-owned fruit stand off of Seely and Montague, open 12 – 6 daily. My boyfriend and his parents are so lucky to live near this place, because it is amazing. My boyfriend and his parents frequently buy the fruit here, because it is delicious and fresh, particularly the strawberries, cherries, peaches, and raspberries. Oh man the raspberries — sweet, with just the perfect amount of tang — are gone so fast, usually by noon. If you stop by and see a box of raspberries, better pick it up because you may not have that opportunity again for a while. It’s THAT popular. This fruit stand is THAT popular. My boyfriend’s mom also likes to buy some veggie produce here, particularly the heirloom tomatoes, broccoli, and zucchini. The prices here are great, especially for the quality of the produce. They may not have a wide variety of produce, but for a little fruit stand, I think it does just fine. The family grows their produce in Gilroy and makes the commute to this stand daily. Because this is a small family-owned, local business, the stand isn’t open all year. It’s open starting around May and closes in the winter. The family are shy, quiet, honest, and so hardworking. I recommend locals to bring their business to this fruit stand and encourage people to support local businesses!

If you love persimmons and live and work close by this is your go to place! Small side of the road fruit stands are hard to come by these days, especially in the heart of silicon valley. It is family owned and they sell all types of fresh fruits and veggies that are in season. It is a simple cash only operation. Their persimmons are huge and very reasonably priced. If you are in the area this is the place to stop by.

They always have the yummiest strawberries, and at a reasonable price too. Their produce is always top notch, though limited in variety(writing this in July, so I’m sure they’ll have more once they get their own produce in there). Would give 5 stars, but the limited selection knocks it down a peg. Would like to see them add carrots and/or another green veggie or two to their selection.

We bought blackberries, cherries and strawberries from their farm and they were yummy compare to what one usually gets in safeway. They do not grow certain fruits like cherries and strawberries but buy it from someplace else. Nevertheless the fruits tastes very good. They open only from noon –6:00pm. I wish they let you pick the produce. Would save a trip to Brentwood just for the picking experience.

I feel a bit dumb. Those mysterious fruits I had last weekend — nectarines. But they didn’t look quite like nectarines. They were mottled. And they tasted way more amazing than most nectarines I’ve had. And I’ve been eating nectarines since I was like two or something. I guess I had thought they were some sore of nectarine hybrid. Like the plumcot concept. Anyway, just get their nectarines, they are premium.

Cute little stand next to Cadence offices off Seely and Montague. I drove by it a few times but never had the chance to stop since I’m always in a rush to get back into the office but today I saw the stand and slammed my brakes. When I got there, there’s a little old lady there who’s pretty friendly setting up the strawberries $ 1.75 for a basket, $ 9 for a half box plus they have some lemons, mangos, and cherries. She told me she’ll have Bing cherries next week =) The stand is fairly simple so don’t expect a produce market or anything but they’re open 12 – 6 everyday during what’s in season.

This is my favorite cute little fruits stand! Their fruits and vegi are fresh and sweet. My most favorite is their strawberry. It’s only $ 1.69! You might think people who work there are blunt… but actually they are NOT. They are just shy and honest.
