Tuan, I love this man, i had been going to him for 10 years!!!
What people need to understand about him, is that he love OEM parts. Those who like aftermarket parts, might not be a fan of his shop.
Tuan believe in fixing a car and making it last. As we all know it, most aftermarket parts are good but they don’t last especially the EBAY knock off parts that people like to buy. You could bring your aftermarket parts for him to install, he’ll install it but he’ll tell you why he prefer OEM.
He could smog, fix your auto, change your tires, and anything that you want him to do. He doesn’t weld, but if you need to weld something, he’ll refer it to a shop near by. Overall, he’s fair and honest and it’s hard to find that in a SPEEDE, MIDAS, or those quick in and out repair shops! If you want to fix your car and keep it fix, I highly recommend Tuan’s Auto Tech!

We took our 94 Lexus LS 400 after the car would intermittently start. We had previously taken the car to a battery manufacture which tested the alt and battery explaining they were fine. Tuan kept the vehicle overnight to test the battery when cold and discovered the brand new/​refurbished battery was defective when cold. He also discovered our transmission mount was sheared off and replaced it at a reasonable price.

Tuan was fantastic today, he helped me fix my brakes which only had 2 – 3 days left on them, so scary! I called him 45 minutes before coming down to check out the problem. He immediately knew the answer and quoted me a reasonable price. He was even willing to take me that same day and stayed open late to make sure this got fixed. He was straight forward with the cost and we dead on, no surprises! I will definitely be returning!

Well, after looking around for a shop to take my car to. I decided to give this guy a call. I asked for a quote and very rude, he just told me that he was busy with a customer and hung up. What kind of business is this??? I guess he doesn’t need money.

Tuan is a great mechanic, as well as having great customer service. I broke my side mirror on my Honda Civic not long ago. Tuan checked on whether getting a new one, or a used one was the best option for me. Not every mechanic would do this because, let’s face it, it takes more time, and time is money. I completely trust Tuan with the work on my car. He is reliable, honest, and knowledgeable.

Tuan is very good n honest. He works hard and gets the job done! I have brought my 2004 BMW 330 in for services and repairs, with no complaints. This is a rare find. If you got a problem with your bimmer go to him. He wont do u wrong on the prices or the quality of his work.

I love Tuan! His service is fast and friendly and he saved me $ 100 which is really important to me since I am a student– I can’t afford to get ripped off by sleezy mechanics! He is very honest, informative, and easy to understand. I do not understand anything about cars but he told me exactly what to look for and when to come back :)

Have continued to use Tuan for all my BMW service needs. Also, added my wife’s Honda Civic. Tuan is the consummate professional. He is very knowledgeable about the vehicle. He is also very honest and reasonable in in his pricing.
Having a very reliable, competent mechanic that Tuan is has proven to me over the many years. I use him exclusively for all repairs as well as the 3000 or 5000 miles service. He has all the electronic equipment that your vehicle needs for assessment and reseting service indicators.
Tuan’s Auto Tech is highly recommend by me for fast, efficient, and reasonably priced service for your auto needs.

Tuan is a really great guy and I was happy to find him. He was pleasant, honest and best of all informative. I brought in an old ’86 Dodge Ram and he not only diagnosed the problem, he told me what he thought was wrong, what needed repairs and even other places that could do it. And then he recommended some things I could do myself, like changing the spark plugs, to save me some money! I get the idea that Tuan really appreciates his customers and isn’t just trying to get their money. I highly recommend him.

Tuan Auto Tech is a great auto repair shop ever… Tuan is a experience Jeep mechanic and very nice guy. The services are efficiency, & prices reasonable. My old 1997 Jeep has been fixed by many shop, but no shops can compare With Tuan Auto. Unbelievable, every time my jeep needs to repair and comes out like a new car. Very recommended All Jeep User to go!!!

This ain’t no gem! stupid me for believing in these reviews. He charged me $ 130 to change out serpentine belts where as speede only charged $ 90! Stupid me for believing that a fellow Vietnamese wouldn’t play another fellow Vietnamese like that. The only thing that’s cheap about this place is the crappy garage he uses to fix your car in, other than that, nothing is cheap.

My husband and I found Tuan on Unilocal.After getting our car repaired locally (Santa Cruz County) my husband was still having problems with his Jeep’s clutch. Based on Tuan’s excellent reviews, we decided to bring the Jeep «over the hill.» We are so glad we did. Tuan is honest and reasonable. He also does something that is very rare these days, he provides excellent customer service! Thank you fellow Unilocalers for helping us find Tuan!

Tuan is a rare auto mechanic. He doesn’t give you B$ and always lets you know that you can compare prices and his price will be the lowest, for sure. I’ve actually done it a couple of times with him, just to verify and he was correct. ;-) His work quality is AMAZING and he is an all-​around nice guy. Reasonable price + great quality + FAST service = My mechanic for life.
Pay Tuan a visit when you’re car has it’s next problem. You will not be disappointed.

I was one of the bmw owners and skeptical about having my 3-​series being serviced/​repaired any places other than dealership. I came across Tuans Auto from Unilocal and the reviews gave me some comfort level. Today I visited Tauns auto shop for my «service engine soon» light. He promptly assisted me and gave me a resolution with estimated cost. His estimate was reasonable, but the impressive part was him advising me on waiting on some repairs since it was not needed immediately. I had a small noise coming from the engine and he gave me good explanation on it, not being harmful in anyways. Tuan came across as an honest, reliable and reasonable mechanic. Just got my car back with everything completed. I am pleased by Tuans courteous service. I would recommend him to others.

Strange — i found Tuan on Unilocal!as he had quite a few positive reviews. On my return, it seems I am the 2nd review (?). The internet has been a great equalizer when it comes to shady mechanics which Tuan certainly is NOT. Tuan is a true professional and I feel blessed to have found him.
Folks, Tuan is remarkable mechanic and human being. He does excellent work at a very fair price. He is very much into using quality OEM parts. I was shocked to hear when he serviced my Toyota Sienna van that he went as far to use Toyota anti-​freeze. When the OEM part is a complete rip off, Tuan has no problem sourcing a used part to get it within my budget.
To from out of town and to find a guy like Tuan has been great. Without Unilocal this would not be possible. Unilocal should assist getting rid of the many «mechanic» scammers that are out there.

I called Tuan and told him I needed a new clutch. He asked me a few questions. And determined I didn’t need a clutch, but a clutch slave cylinder. About a 5th of the price of a clutch. That’s why I’ve been going to Tuan for 6 years, originally based upon a friend’s recommendation. I’m happy to recommend him and have done so in the past.
Tuan can diagnose a problem and fix it. He’s honest, hardworking, and technically proficient. I agree 100% with the 9÷7÷2006 review. He always has the work done on time and his prices are honest.
