I love the banh bo hap/​steamed rice cakes from this bakery! They’re always so cute and fluffy and have a great texture. Not only is it dirt cheap but they pack that styrofoam plate full of them. Can’t wait to get some more! :)

I have a new addiction: Sweet Rice Cakes
They are soft and chewy with a reminiscence of pound cake. The inside is creamy and smooth, the outer crust is covered in a thin layer of coconut flakes.
The owners are amazingly humble and will accommodate any craving you have. Not like American bakeries where everything is over-​processed and too sweet, Vinh Hing makes their treats everyday with personal intention of not weighing you down.
It hits the spot, not too rich, just sweet enough, and dirt-​cheap. But it’s all about presentation, and their cakes yell ‘home-​made’.
