I love this place! the owner was amazing, and totally chill while my family and i filed through her beads. I picked up a couple, made a pretty interesting necklace out of them a week ago, and am going back today!!! love this shop!

Awesome little bead shop! The beads are exceptionally well organized and they offer great variety — I found some wonderful vintage beads and gemstones. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. They have a nice selection of unique handmade pendants. Well worth a stop in, it’s just a mile off the 101 and around the corner from the mission, where you can take a nice stroll and stretch.

This place has lots of great stuff at pretty good prices. I just love going into bead stores, and I love supporting local businesses. I wish they had more varieties of stretchy string but they have plenty of other fixtures, etc.

Charmed is a wonderful place to let your creative juices flow. Ashley, the owner is very kind and helpful. She is great with kids. Ashley has done a couple of birthday parties for my young daughter. She has been a hit each time. She has a very nice shop full of wonderful beads and findings along with all of the tools you need to get started making your own jewelery and gifts. Her own work is not only beautiful but very inspiring. It is hard not to be overcome with the urge to create as soon as you walk into her shop. Ashley and her shop actually bring out the creativity you never knew you had.

Any time I can get away I come and visit, they have totally awesome supply of gemstones, rocks, anything your little heart desires for crafts.
I will probably be there for my birthday, buying little things. :) :)

So, a little background on me: I’m a professional jewelry artist. Have been for 8 years. There are some very specific things that will get me back to a bead store, and this shop has them all. This is a fabulous little bead store. The selection, first of all, is fantastic, there is a wide variety of charms, findings, gemstones, Swarovski and other crystals, chain, tools, storage, you name it. It’s got a little bit of everything, and it’s clear the owner is selecting for quality, not quantity. Second, the prices are very reasonable. Thirdly, the space, though on the cozy side, is very well-​organized, and there is a great flow through the shop. There’s a little central table where you can sit and work, and dig through the Bead Pit while you’re chilling, and the owner is incredibly friendly and helpful. You can also ogle some of the beautiful custom work she displays of local artists, and enjoy her fabulous music selection. It’s a fun, out-​of-​the-​way treasure of a bead store that I will be returning to again and again.

First of all, I am not an artist. This is a great little shop that makes me want to be more into arts and crafts and make jewelry. There are countless types and colors of beads in here. There are also little trinkets that are awesome gifts. The owner is very kind and helpful and does special orders. Theer is also some of her made jewelry for sale. I know rosaries are a popular commodity. She also does classes on Thursday nights.
