My dad used to have a clock business and the second I step foot in to this clock shop I am flooded with childhood memories of my father and his clocks. The ticking, the bells, the smell. I love this shop.
Came here 4 years ago while I was on a feild trip with my son. I fell in love with this shop then, however didn’t have time to really shop, but kept the shop in mind all of these years. Well yesterday we made a special trip to San Juan Bautista and found myself in this shop again.
As we entered we were greeted by the owner and he was so happy to have us in his shop. He showed us all of his new and old clocks and he was just so excited about his business… again, reminds me of my dad and his old clock passion. I am obsessed with cuckoo clocks and wanted one of my own for years. 4 years ago while here I wanted to buy one, but held off as they are a little pricey. Yesterday I found one that I loved and decided to splurge on something nice for myself that I’ve been wanting for a long time. I was given a GREAT deal and just couldn’t pass it up.
I am now the proud owner of my very own cuckoo clock! I told my dad today that I bought one and he was so proud of me too!
Definitely stop by this shop when you visit San Juan Bautista. They are very kid friendly and have tons of stuff to look at.
