Carley Cakes

Terrible customer service. Kevin has flaked on us for 2 weeks. He’s not reliable. We’ve called and texted and nothing. When we called the store, he was apparently interviewing someone so we know he’s still there. What happened?

I have used Kevin/​Carley Cakes for a ton of events including thanksgiving, a work party, my sisters bridal shower, an engagement party and my fiancés birthday and every time my experience was better than the last. Kevin has ways been very communicative and professional when working with me. The cakes and other pastries are some of if not the best I have ever had. I can’t wait for him to make the cake for my wedding!

They sell Carley cakes pastries at hidden house in San Juan and they are soooo good. They’ve come up with this magical invention called a Bagel Bomb. And they are definitely the bomb dot com. It’s a bagel dough bun type deal filled with cream cheese and bacon. Salty creamy and bacony. Excuse my droooolll

His pastries are delicious, and man is he a cutie!!! I could eat his stuff every day.

Delicious and great service from Kevin. I had placed an order for the carrot cake and it was delivered on time and it was so good. If you need a cake or anything this is the guy to call. I must add also, he is very helpful and beyond nice. I will defiantly be coming back for more sweets. If you’re in Los rios street, make sure to stop by hidden house coffee and get the delicious coffee they have with one of Kevin’s amazing pastries.

W ordered my daughter’s birthday cake online. Kevin immediately reached me and we set up the cake flavors, theme and pick up time.
The cake was adorable and really moist and delicious. We had a strawberry cake with a vanilla frosting. All I said to Kevin was my little one wished for a strawberry cake with pink and gold elephants. It was too cute. He made butter cookies in the shape of elephants with gold and pink sparkly sprinkles.

So, let me start by saying I was so excited about getting a cake from Kevin. Everything seemed like such a great match (cake made from scratch, cake delivery, cake price) until I had to deal with the customer service. I totally placed an order for 2 cakes, one for each of my kids birthday parties and set up a time to do a tasting. I waited for the confirmation from Kevin to come and it never did. I called about six times and sent a bunch of texts and never received anything back. I finally tracked him down at the bakery where he works and spoke to someone that let me know he had been there working and had just left (honestly, i thought something happened).
I spoke to the guy that answered and let him know I was just trying to reach Kevin to give him my deposit for the cakes and he said he would let him know, that night at midnight I received a text from Kevin letting me know «i will not be able to make your cakes».
Unfortunately, I lost an entire week waiting to see if I had a cake or not, and I had to start my search all over again.
Too bad, seemed like a great place for a cake but what horrible unprofessional service :(

Hands down, Carley Cakes makes Thee Best cakes & pastries in Orange County. The Carrot cake & cheesecake are insane! Also those pumpkin muffins stuffed with a dollop of cream cheese frosting are to die for! Carley cakes is now a family tradition for every holiday party & birthday at our home :)
