I have never had such a horrible treatment experience. I feel they did not care about the want of there«clients», recovery. Unsupervised, I saw men sneak in the women’s facility which I have photos of. People in there were put on more medication than an addict came in with, they had bad reactions, me being 1. Baclofen, seraquil were dispensed which are addicting by a PA who I felt was unprofessional, rushed you. The therapists were not therapists, or at least mine was not, it says now on there site. By law only 6 people in detox house, they’d have up to 9, people on the floor due to know room, not enough employees available. Detoxing a patient is extremely important, yet they ignore you, don’t get your medication. A young man turned blue, wasn’t discovered for over an hour. The house manager had no idea what to do, she had asked the patients what to do, then asked a driver come get him, finally the patients insisted that 911 needed to be called. The patient was never seen again, I do hope he’s alive, as getting the help he was not there. Nor the help I was not getting, it’s untrue they have licensed very experienced therapists for help of trauma, therapy. They will offer things that don’t exist just to get your insurance money. If you truly are seeking help, please from experience keep looking, don’t stop here. I urge you to not give up, and don’t let the photos fool you. Sadly as many employees stated to many patients, «we can’t believe there’s no doctor, or I’ve never experienced such sadness and lack of caring», «these are people’s lives were dealing with, and it’s like they don’t care». They will try everything to get you in, and you’ll come to find you were lied to, and left hoping, begging for help. If your reading this do know this facility is rated the way it is for a reason. Keep searching and you’ll find a place that works, and is affordable. I only wish I had known what I know now. Why I feel it’s only fair others do know prior to getting lied to. They sadly are lying about so much of wha they claim to offer. Look up there website, I found out my «therapist», was in fact not one at all, as majority are. The last words I heard from an employee was«this is why good people don’t want to work here or quit due to seeing what goes on».

Having been a client at Luminance, I am 100 percent better now in all aspects of my life than when I walked through there doors on day one. If you are looking for a safe environment to start recovery, this is a very good option. The owner of the company stays in contact with me to this day, along with my counselor. Compared to most other treatment centers, they have a small number of clientel which made it easier to talk about my problems without getting rushed because of time. After being in my addiction for 9 years, this was the only rehab I have ever gone to so that says something about there program. Good luck with your recover.

If I could give less stars I wish I could. I wanted to detox then do treatment. What they tell you in admissions is all a plot to get you in the door to get your insurance because nothing they told me manifested into reality. Anyone looking for a detox PLEASE keep looking an dont make the mistake I did. When I went to see the doctor on day 1 to talk about my detox an what protocol will fit my condition. There was no doctor in facility just a PA that works under doc. N the detox they use is a cookie cutter uniform that apparently couldn’t be made to fit my medical needs. Was denied when ask to speak to doc. I could go on an on about there lack of understanding and or compassion for someone who is detoxing. I just want to save someone who is seeking help to not be tortured by this business, they have no business being a detox.
