Stephanie and I live in Laguna Beach and were looking for a new dry cleaners to try (we had just stopped going) and so we turned to Unilocal to check out some highly rated businesses on way or in the direction of our weekly travels and read about Ortega Cleaners &Tailoring and it really has turned out so great for us! Not only is it a great location for us but better yet they have already done such great work for us in tailoring and dry-​cleaning services. We have had pants and shorts and shirts tailored perfectly and they have removed stains from favorite shirts cleaned suits and dresses and we feel we have a business that we trust and can rely on again! Easy to talk to about our needs and concerns we have become big fans of all their services and trust their work! If you are looking for this type of business don’t hesitate to give them a try. I took a dress to get altered here since there weren’t many alteration places in my area, and they were able to turn it around very quickly! The dress fit perfectly when I tried it on & I’m happy with the service. She also steamed it for me so that it’s ready to go; excited to wear it for my friend’s upcoming wedding! Will be coming back here to have some other items tailored. Highly recommend!

Great place! Prices are decent. I wish dry cleaning could get done faster though. Alterations on the other hand is fairly fast. Shortening sleeves took about 3 days. Not bad.

This is a great place to get alterations. I had a wool coat tailored here, and not only do the seams look like they’ve been done by a perfectionist, but the service was professional and very fast. Their pricing is also extremely competitive, and they offer a 10 percent discount on alterations for customers who use Unilocal.I’m taking all my alterations and dry cleaning here from now on. A reliable place to get my dry cleaning done! I also brought in a skirt to be hemmed, the tailor was friendly and finished it in a short period of time. Plus, it’s a lot cheaper than other places I’ve been to. Definitely recommend!

I recently got my bridesmaid dress altered here after being recommended to this shop by a friend. The dress was quite loose and long and I also wanted to alter the sweetheart shape. I thought it would be complicated since the dress was chiffon with pleats, but they made it possible and very quick! The alterations were seamless and the dress looked as good as new. I will be back since they have a dry cleaning plant here as well.

I stopped by here last week and dropped off some dry cleaning and also to get a bridesmaid dress altered. I’m so happy with the results I received today! The pricing is very affordable and the alterations exceeded my expectations!

I come down to San Juan Cap a couple of times a month to visit my family, and I always stop by Ortega Hwy Cleaners to get my dry cleaning done. They have the best prices, especially compared to LA prices. So I consolidate all of my dry cleaning needs and take it to Ortega because their prices and services are very affordable. They are family business, and the clerk is always helpful. I am very excited about the alterations services that they just added.
