South Coast Glow

Had my very first spray tan at South Coast Glow 7 days ago before a trip to Vegas. I still have natural, even color. This place is awesome. Very clean and professional. Christine did my spray tan. I highly recommend her. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. Thanks for the great tan SCG.

I accrued some gnarly tan lines (thanks to a t-​back tank top AND bra straps) sitting in the sun last month, and because I tan easily yet hadn’t been in the sun for a looong time, the lines were embarrassingly obvious even weeks later. I had a wedding to go to and the dress I was planning to wear is cut very low in the back, so I decided the best option was to get spray tanned.
I was super nervous about getting spray tanned but a friend suggested I try Christine at South Coast Glow. Thank goodness because Christine was *awesome*!! She was patient in answering all my questions and walking me through exactly what to do before, during, and after our session. She completely alleviated my doubts and fears.
I went with the «rapid» tan so I was able to shower just 3 hours later instead of having to wait till the next day. Christine was extremely detail-​oriented — she took her time making sure everything looked great. She did an excellent job of spraying my back — ultimately blending everything together so that I was generally tan and glow-​y. My tan looks so healthy — I can see why people get addicted. Also, I didn’t have any tan streaks after showering nor did the solution stain my clothes (I was totally expecting it).
My almost-​backless dress looked beautiful and my back looked even better. Big thanks to Christine for fixing what I thought was a hopeless mess. It was cheaper to get the rapid tan than it would have been to buy a new dress!

Never thought I would be spray tanned but now I’m a regular! My sprays last over a week, and always come out looking completely natural. Great service/​people and atmosphere. I highly recommend South Coast Glow! 5stars:)

It’s a shame because the new owner was so nice, sweet and knowledgable. Though I waited in the lobby with no idea what was going on, no one to greet, and the appt started 15 mins late, I really liked the vibe and the owner apologized profusely. The actual spray tan also nearly instant dried, which was so convenient compared to standing in front of a fan sopping wet. Christine made sure all the details were covered. However this was the worst spray tan I’ve ever gotten as far as how my skin looked after. My chest is spotty and the spray tan is just coming off, and my heels are a different color than my legs. I am a bridesmaid tomorrow and I’m in the middle of nowhere and very upset. I was a longtime customer of this place back when Hailey first opened. The new ownership really represented themselves as experts that only use high quality. I don’t know what happened. I will give it another try because as I said, I do believe there may be potential. But I will not do it before a wedding or somewhere I’ll be taking photos.

I 100% recommend South Coast Glow. Christine the new owner takes her business very serious and is a perfectionist in producing the most natural looking spray tan out there. She convinced me to try the new Excel product and I am loving it!!! No more waiting 6 – 8 hours to shower… instead 3 hours is all I have to wait, It is a game changer not to be trapped in my house for 8 long grueling hours till showering. Love love the new product. And lastly the membership is a great deal… it makes a tan achievable year round instead of only in the summer.

I absolutely love my spray tan. Getting sprayed by South Coast Glow was a great experience. Talk about attention to detail, everything I needed to prepare for a great tan was given to me; face cloths, hair clips, lotion, etc. Wonderful customer service. The shop was very clean and beautiful. Peaceful environment. I highly recommend it!

A few days before my wedding, I got a really bad tan line on my back/​shoulder area from being outside all day at Disneyland with my family who was in town for the wedding. I’d never gotten a spray tan before but some of my friends advised me against it due to bad experiences they’d had. But due to the good reviews, I decided to go for it and I’m so glad I did! The owner was amazing and made me feel so comfortable throughout the whole (short) process. And it looked so natural! No weird orange hues!

This place recently switched owners however is operating under the same name.
I recently got a tan and it is the worst I have ever had. I have big blotchy dark marks on my arms, my arm pits are WHITE and my legs have little marks all over.
The tan took 45 minutes. I had the solution dripping all down my body and she had to blot it with little wipes (I’ve never experienced this).
The lady was nice but the tan was AWFUL. I will not be back.

I found South Coast Glow on Unilocal and decided to try it out because of all the great reviews. I am so happy I did. I love this place! Hayley made me feel so comfortable. She was so sweet and gave me so many good tips and tricks to keep my tan looking great. My tan lasted almost 2 weeks! The salon was super clean and had a very calm, comfortable feeling to it. I will definitely come back and have already told all my friends about it!

I have never spray tanned in my life. So I was hesitant but wanted to be tan for the holidays. Christine was my gal and she was so professional and knowledgeable about the products she was applying. She took her time with me and made sure I was comfortable. My tan was amazing. I followed her directions to the tee. My tan has lasted for over a week. SO HAPPY :)
