Another fantastic meal at Lomo House! My best friend Jimmy and I give this restaurant 5 stars service and 5 stars for cuisine. Outstanding… we will be back.

Give this place a try! The food is authentic and DELICIOUS! We’ve had great lunches here a couple times and will definitely add this to our rotation. The lomo saltado and seafood saltado are both super tasty, and the aji sauce is nice and SPICY! Service is great. The waiter brought us delicious fruity drinks on our first visit. Looking forward to exploring the menu further!

Delicious fast and fresh Chinese and Peruvian Cuisine. Always consistently delivers on quality and service. I’m a regular here for lunch soon nice I work close by and I have to eat here once a week it’s that good. Definitely a casual hole in the wall find but clean and just plain good.

Most of the reviews on here on for the Chinese food restaurant next door. The Lomo’s House is a Peruvian restaurant which just opened. My wife and I where looking for a restaurant in the area after a day at the beach and stumbled across this restaurant. It had just opened the day before. I’m so happy we came at the right time to eat at this gem! The owner of the restaurant served us and was very helpful answering all of our questions. Try the juices which they make themselves. Give Lomo’s a shot. You won’t regret it.

I was originally looking for Billy’s Premium Deli but after driving a few minutes and couldn’t find it so I settled on this place since it was walking distance. Walking in my first thought was this place is small but I noticed they have another section of the store for diners with a tv and juke box. The main entrance was well lit but the seating area was really dark when you compare the two. Looking at the trays of food they had to offer I thought it was limited compared to other Chinese food restaurants I’ve been too. Another thing I noticed was the workers here are all Hispanic from the cashiers to the chef, but living in so cal it’s kind of expected. For some this may cause a few to step away since it loses the illusion of authenticity but I gave them a try anyway, I’m didn’t feel like walking anymore. I ended up getting the 2 item plate with chow mein, orange chicken, and sweet spicy chicken worth a small drink for about $ 8.90 total. When it took my first bite I thought something was off. The more I ate the more i got this feeling of something was not right. Then it hit me, the food here was flavorless and watered down. The chow mein didn’t have the full color like they do at other places along with the orange chicken. The chow mein was meh but and the only thing I can really say about the orange chicken is it’s well cooked but lacked flavor and color. Most orange chicken have a thick layer of glaze with dark colors but not this place. The sweet spicy chicken was interesting since I’m not a fan of spicy food but ended getting it since the others didn’t look so good. This was interesting because they weren’t that spicy but have a little kick to them but you can tell they were sitting on the counter for a while. My final words on this place here there will be no second visit and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Since other reviewers have stated this place having the best chinese food and orange chicken in the OC is a bold claim and they certainly don’t live up to it. But if you enjoy watered down chinese food such as Panda Express then give them a try but for others who had chinese food else where I would pass on this.

The STAFF are very nice and provide you with a free sample if you’re debating over which items to order. A hole-in-the-wall establishment. It is super casual with a hot and greasy dining room attached. No A/C offered it seemed on this day. The food quality is roughly comparable to Panda Express. If you enjoy«whitey mcghee» Chinese food eating this will be plenty satisfactory. However, if you’re seeking authentic Chinese eats or delectable Asian grub… please press on my friends. «Please press on»…

Saw this place next to where I was shopping. Came over to grabbed lunch. Saw some of the reviews, so I felt pretty good about it. Not sure where those people who wrote the previous reviews where thinking. But this place is far from the best orange chicken or Chinese food in OC. My food was slightly warm. The selection was very minimal. Food was very bland. I would need eat here in the future, even if it was free.

This place is truly disgusting. I have been here once before and was unsure of going back. I had a short lunch break so why not? So I walk in an this place is hotter than hell! I see 4 other people standing in line and no one helping them. Finally a lady comes out and she doesn’t look too ecstatic to be there. So it’s my turn to order. As I’m ordering, the lady sees a fly and smashes it on the counter. She told me to hold on while she went to rinse her hands. Yes, i said rinse. Not wash, RINSE her hands with only water. I was so disgusted by it that I had to walk out. I have never seen anyone do that before an it made me sick to my stomach. I would certainly stay away from this place unless you’re into that kind of stuff. I’m sure a health inspector would not be too pleased with this. This place should be shut down for unsafe food practices.

We stumbled upon this place driving home from Del Mar. We were getting hungry so we just turned off the highway and there it was. A chinese deli? Would we wind up w/an orange chicken rueben? Or a moo shoo on rye? We had to find out. We smelled chinese food as we got closer, so when we walked in, we realized it’s like a Panda Express. Why the word deli? There’s no sandwiches here. We got a 3 item combo. Half rice/half chow mein; orange chicken, spicy wings and BBQ pork. Everything was fine. Too much salt in the BBQ pork, but otherwise, just as advertised. The wings were really spicy, though, so beware. The people were really nice and there’s a pretty large dining area attached to sit and eat there. They gave us some fortune cookies, too. Good prices… we got all that food for under $ 8. On the off chance we’d be in the area again, we’d eat here again.

YUCK. Seriously, awful. Yeah, it’s cheap, but it’s not even worth the 5 or so bucks. The food has no flavor whatsoever. You’d be better to pass on this.

A really good Chinese food place to eat if you don’t want to spend any money. It’s not authentic at all, and it’s extremely salty, but quite good if you want to fill up on 5 dollars. The spicy pork is killer, and the bbq pork is even better… actually, everything on the menu except the beef and broccolli is good. If you want a feel for the flavor… Pick Up Stix is better. I also get the squirts every time I eat here.

This place is a fast food, to-go Americanized Chinese place. Their orange chicken is like 98% corn starch with barely any chicken. The bbq pork was decent, but overly salted. Steamed rice was fairly dry. I thought it was weird seeing a steam-tray style shop selling chilled beer and wine by the glass. Pass on this place and grab some Mexican food elsewhere in the area.
