I went in to taste their cupcakes. First of all there were no cupcakes on display. They only had some mini cupcakes inside a plastic tray i decided to take those and they were a giant disappointment. I own a daycare and not even the kids wanted to eat them. Kids love cupcakes but not these. The cake was hard and not moist at all. The frosting/buttercream was very very very hard. Not going back.

The most fresh, delicious desserts, pastries and cookies I’ve ever had and that’s not even the best part… it’s so affordable! I got a box of fresh, delicately soft Madeleine’s for $ 2!

I discovered this spot while looking for a place to get a pastry for breakfast. Best decision I made instead of stopping at Starbucks and paying for overpriced pastries. Their croissants are buttery and soft. The lady at the front is super nice and told me the best time to come was early morning so I wouldn’t miss my cheese and jalapeño croissant as they ran out fast. They are so good that I’m shipping some back home

Very disappointed with this bakery. I had emailed to order a cake about a month ago. We got everything down to the design of the cake. They said they were able to make the cake for the date I wanted. I never heard anything after assuming that the cake was in order. I emailed back to confirm pick up time and then find out to learn that I never had a confirmed order because I never got a invoice since I needed to pay half of the cost of the order to fully confirm. Basically horrible customer service. I guess I should’ve read the reviews more clearly on here because it seems like they don’t have great customer service for cake orders and the rating of 4 stars are just for those cookies at Costco.

Recently bought Bakery Street’s Toasted Almond Crisp biscuits at Costco. And omg, they are just fantastic !!! Very crisp, a great almond flavor, I cannot stop eating them. The good news is that there are plenty of them in their see-through plastic box, and so I don’t have to worry about them finishing soon either. They are priced under $ 7 for the entire box, such a steal of a deal. I know this for sure, these toasty toasted almond crisps are going to come home with me from now on when I make my Costco trips, which btw is very frequent. So thank you Bakery Street, your cookies are FANTASTIC !!!

It tried this place before and they were awesome! I love strawberries and when I tried their strawberry cookies they were even better than anything I have ever tried! But the only thing is that they close at 5:00 Mon-Fri and close at 4:30 on Saturday! So if you are on a time rush you should live in San Leandro because they are going to be close by! Also another thing is that it will be in a court at the back of the street so don’t get worried if you don’t see them!

They are very creative when it comes to decorating the outer appearance of the cake but the flavor? Not so much I ordered a red velvet cake w/cream cheese and I was kinda disappointed, they need to change their recipe or add more flavor to the cake! Either way this cake was perfect and my sister and her friends lived it! Thank you Rebecca!(The cupcakes are from a different store) ps. This was a $ 175 cake

Their baked goods are ok, and the price is right; however, the people that work here, like the old redheaded lady just hate to talk to customers. I was asking her about the hours and she was too lazy and unmotivated to tell me and just blurted that it was posted on the door. Well, do do head, that’s how you build rapport with your customers and ensure they actually come back. Rude. And one of the baker ladies, Asian, with the whole get up outfit… I said hello and smiled and asked how she was and she looked dumbfounded. Discourteous. No Smile. This world is falling apart and it all started at this bakery. :)

What a hidden gem in the industrial area of San Leandro. A lot of different bakery items for an insanely affordable price. The zucchini bread was awesome and the apricot short bread was delicious. The ingredients are truly natural, as you can id all ingredients and pronounce them. The custom cakes looked very nice, and I will order one in the future. Highly recommend to everyone with a sweet tooth. My only criticism is that they should offer more mini desserts and croissants in bulk rather than sell them for $ 1 each.

I really like most things here. Love the fortune cookies and coins. A pretty big bag for just $ 1. The butter cookies and croissants are good. The Hawaiian rolls are excellent too!

While they did accommodate an sheet cake order with only 3 days notice, the price was high($ 150 for a 80 persons sheet cake). I dont mind paying that much obviously but I expect ATLEAST a mediocre tasting cake. In addition, the cake was disgusting. We ordered vanilla cake and it kind of tasted like corn and was very oily/buttery. It had a fudge filling and the fudge is HARD and very poor quality. The receptionist who took my order recommended we use their cream cheese frosting and so we went with that, trusting her. She obviously didnt consider what these 3 components would taste like together. It tastes more like power sugar and… just wasn’t quite right. Save the money, go somewhere else.

We have used Bakery Street for custom cakes including our wedding and several birthdays. The cakes have always been spectacular! We recently went in for a birthday cake and ordered a chocolate fudge cake with chocolate ganache, it was delicious(a small slice, goes a long way, it is rich, but not overly sweet). The theme was flamingos, so we asked for a lagoon on the top. They gave us a lagoon with little white caps on it, grass edges and the sides were decorated with tall thin grass leaves in different colors. When we added the pink flamingos, it was perfect. I have posted a picture of it. Another great job by Bakery Street.

First, this place is incredibly out of the way, tucked at the end of a cul de sac in an industrial area. I thought that I had discovered a true«hidden» gem when we pulled up. I got even more excited when I walked in and saw their large selection of baked goods, priced incredibly cheap. They are cheap for a reason! So bland and dry. I think Safeway makes better baked goods than this.

Picked up a red velvet cake here. It was quite dense and it felt like it weighed a ton! Saw a box of madeleines and got that as well. Felt like these wer All in all, I expected more from this place. Supposedly Costco carried their red velvet cake before making their own so I expected a more moist and tasty cake. For a $ 25 cake that would serve about 14 people, it was only ok. It was very crumbly and not very tasty.

Great little place. Low key, good selection, great prices, and friendly and helpful service. If you take the time to find this place, you won’t regret it. I’ve almost forgotten how good wholesale prices on this type of stuff can be. Makes me cringe to buy them at a regular grocery store. Yes, they do have some random kinds of pastries, but they also have a very good selection of the stuff you’d expect to find. I liked that though the packaging is simple, it’s not cheap-looking. Bags/boxes are well-sealed and labeled. They do not sell many things individually. Most things come in bunches, but it isn’t a problem since everything is inexpensive. I was told that they have fresh stuff on Fridays and Saturdays, so those days might be the best, especially if you’re going for the first time. Lastly, the woman working there said that during winter, they are not open quite as late on Friday nights.
