What a great experience — Marco really saved the day. Arrived on time, did very thorough diagnosis and provided a complete estimate to replace the malfunctioning alternator, along with some recommendations (and absolutely no pressure) for some needed fluid changes.
I was already pretty stressed from my car breaking down on the San Mateo bridge, and was really delighted to find Marco; because he is mobile and makes «house calls,» I didn’t have to hassle with having the car towed, waiting around for the shuttle and making all sorts of arrangements.
Best of all, he got it done on time. Thank you!
Prices were fair, he doesn’t mark up the parts or fluids, and so appreciate that.
Would recommend him highly and feel so lucky to have a new service provider I can look to when my car needs attention!

First time using Marco and won’t be my last. I know enough about cars (and mechanical/​electrical devices in general) to see he has good troubleshooting skills, is intelligent and patient. He also is personable with good people skills as well. Certainly he is honest and prices are more than fair. We worked together some of the time. He helped diagnose a temperature problem on my VW Golf. He replaced drive belts, brake and trans. fluids and CV axle on 94 Camry. When doing the later he found a broken stabilizer mount that was causing loud thumps going over bumps. He removed it. I was able to get it welded and he reinstalled same time as the other work. We discussed and he gave good advice about what maintenance was worth doing on a car this old. He told me my brakes were fine when F-​stone told me I needed new pads and rotors. Sure happy to have all this accomplish at home, in one afternoon, at ½ the cost of any shop.
Update 11/​15/​2015 — Had to use Marco again for a different problem, cracked radiator. He worked with me to find my very obscure model. He put in the new one, new hoses, anti-​freeze and thermostat. Again, his service was great, thorough and very reasonable.
Update 1÷28÷2016 — Older car, new problem — a hidden cooling hose burst. Had to remove entire intake manifold to get to it — poor design. 5 hours of work to replace a $ 20 hose. Marco came through again fixing it and replacing a few vulnerable important parts as part of the job (gaskets, injector O-​rings, a few other hoses). Very careful, thorough work. All is well… for now on my 21 yr old car.

We just started using Marco and he is amazing! Honest, very reasonable pricing and saved us on a weekend when the starter went out on our car. We just bought a house in the area and plan to use him for any future car problems.

Very professional and helpful, he installed a new alternator on my car quickly, he discovered the part was bad and offered to give me a ride to the auto parts store, reasonable pricing and extremely knowledgeable about cars and maintainence. I will definitely be giving him a call in the future :)

Marco is the real deal. My old dump truck lift was not working and I did lot of troubleshooting myself but still can’t fix it. So I found Marco on Unilocal with good review in my area. So I called him at noon but he was busy from job in s j. But he said he can come by after work. He show up at 6:15pm and I updated him what the situation and he went straight to work. Got the lift working within a hour.

I didn’t even know mobile mechanics were a business. But I had an issue where my car wasn’t moving to get it to a shop. I also knew I would be money just to tow it and my issue could likely be solved in less than an hour.
It was electrical and needed the attention of someone with knowledge and experience. Marco figured out the issue in less than 30 minutes and resolved it in about an hour.
Then like any sound business, he followed up with me several days later to make sure everything was going well. The dealership doesn’t even do that; with a full staff of customer service agents.
I saved a ton of money and I felt like I received excellent service. I’m absolutely sure he will be my mechanic of choice going forward!

I originally took my wife’s Honda to Marco after another mechanic gave me a quote that seemed way steep. Marco went over what was wrong and what needed to be fixed in a way that gave me confidence in his abilities and also left me feeling like i could trust him on the work and pricing. He fixed it in a quick and efficient manner. I have since taken my own Honda and a friends car to him.

Marco is a great way to cut through the hassle and get the job done at an affordable rate. Plus you are supporting a small business as opposed to just giving more money to a chain retailer.

I have a 1990 Ford Mustang 5.0. Everytime I call Marco he comes through for me. He is always on time, and he also educates me through the process of what has gone wrong with the car and why. His prices are fair and in this day in age it is hard to find an honest mechanic. He is also very well rounded, he does it all. Call him up!
